Exciting rafting - We had Gabriel as our guide and he was excellent! They picked us up at their base and drove us to the top of the river; Gabriel gave us a safety presentation so we would be prepared if we fell out of the raft. He was thorough and serious, with a bit of fun thrown in. Once at the river, the exciting fun began. We wove our way down the river, through rapids, along the sides. We stopped halfway to enjoy some fresh pineapple and oranges provided by the company. We continued and ended up getting dumped out of our raft, but safely returned to it, with Gabriel's help --- it was perfectly done!! At the end, we were driven back to their base and given a delicious casado! This was a great and active adventure that was the highlight of our time in Costa Rica - well worth the time and money to experience this!

Incredible experience - So far one of the best experiences I've ever had in my life. At first I was a little nervous but seconds later after we started I realized that it was okay and i wasn't expecting that definitely it was going to be so much fun. an amazing experience it is something that I really would love to do again Also our tour guide Gabriel was amazing very funny and with an incredible experience 100% recommended for adventure people

"Extreme" Rafting - This was a great Class III and IV rafting trip – similar to others I have done in the US, Top quality transportation, lunch, guides (Jorge was our guide – great sense of humor!), and equipment. The river was very clean and the rapid were no stop. We were able to jump off a 5 m cliff at one point, and had a snack break at another for fresh fruit, and then lunch at their riverside restaurant (which has bathrooms and showers) before heading back. Its about a 90 minute drive to LaFortua each way. They keep your stuff safe in the van while you raft, or they had lockers also.

Best time ever!!! - We had the most amazing time white water rafting with Desafio Adventure Company last week! Jorge was our guide and he was phenomenal - fun, safe, kind and professional. It was truly the highlight of our Costa Rica trip!! Highly recommend!

Great trip, definitely recommend! - The entire experience was excellent. From the pickup at our hotel to the River guide and the staff- everyone was incredibly friendly and professional. The rafting was great! I’m not a strong swimmer, but always felt safe and in good hands with our guide. The scenery was beautiful, we saw a lot of great wildlife including a great variety of birds, some monkeys, and even a sloth.

Costa Rican Rafting - This tour is so much fun! Our guides Jackson and Gabriel were amazing. We felt very safe the entire time, even when we fell out a couple times. Fresh fruit provided and an amazing traditional Costa Rican lunch at the end. Very professional tour company.

Great time, great guides - This was my first time white water rafting since I was a kid, and what an awesome experience. I'm glad we chose to do the level 3/4, it felt challenging without being dangerous. Shoutout to our guide David, and our kayaker/photographer Gavriel (sorry if I spelled that wrong!). Both of you are rockstars!
