Rafting class II-III - We had the best time rafting with Kervin and Gustavo today!! We felt safe and in great hands. They provided local stories, expertise, professionalism and great laughs! We highly recommend for a group rafting trip

Great RAFTING outing - Great rafting day on the Balsa River, very well organized. Thanks to Gustavo, Lorenzo and Andy for this day dedicated to PURA VIDA!! A descent full of sensations, but always safe. We were lucky enough to see sloths on the way down and were even able to stop. Break in the middle of the activity to taste fresh fruit by the river, and cold beer on arrival.

What a rush of adrenaline - We could not stop smiling, what an adventure!! We were very lucky to have Sivianny as our guide. He knew so much about the water and made it so fun for us. This is definitely an excursion that the kids will not stop talking about. We never fell out!! Afterwards we had lunch at this really neat farm to table restaurant & then off to a distillery. What a treat!! I highly suggest this tour to all!!

Well worth it! - We had a great time on this trip! Enzo was our guide and he was excellent. He was very clear in his safety instructions. He knew exactly what he was doing as he gave instructions to us while we were on the river. He also took the time to point out wildlife. We enjoyed pineapple and watermelon halfway down the river. After the rafting trip we were taken for a hot lunch which was delicious. And to top it off, there was an unexpected surprise at the end!

Fantastic rafting and lunch with Doña Mara - We did the white water rafting and Brandon was our guide. We had an incredible time. It was a lot of fun. We also enjoyed a pineapple in the river and it was so delicious and so much fun!!! At the end of the white water rafting we had lunch with Doña Mara. She taught us how to make tacos and our own chilena which we brought home. It was a beautiful and immersive experience. Pura Vida.

La Fortuna Rafting Experience - Saw more wildlife on this adventure than at any other time. Kevin, our guide, was wonderful and full of knowledge and fun. The fresh fruit stop was a good break. Will be back and try a different run.

Incredibly fun trip and great food - Our tour guide Jairo started us off. He was very kind and offered great insights for the rides. Our raft guide Momo was also great. He was very funny and made the trip extremely fun for my family. Fresh fruit was offered as snacks and the lunch trip was also really amazing. Highly recommend as an exposition, regardless of rafting experience. The guides were great and made everyone feel completely safe, even through the most thrilling sections

Muy divertido! - I booked this for our family a d everyone was a little nervous beforehand, this was our first time rafting. Our guides picked us up from our hotel in la Fortuna and took us to the Balsa river which was about a 30-40 minute drive. Our driver Jonathan was the strong but silent type, our guide Sivianny was absolutely amazing in many respects; he was the perfect instructor, he kept us safe but was also lots of fun, plus he looked like a movie star (sat next to me at least). Half way through he expertly carved us some fresh pineapple and watermelon that we ate on the boat while moored up briefly. That moment will live in the memory for a while. We saw baby sloths, birds and cows on the way around. But the best part was the rafting which was so much fun, we would love to try again during the wet season when the waters are a bit faster. We had a cold beer when we got back to the van and then some lunch at a local restaurant which was also very nice. Overall a fantastic trip, highly recommended

Highly recommended - The Whitewater Rafting Rio Balsa experience by Wave Expeditions was well above excellent. Our group of split into two rafts. The rapids were sufficiently challenging for our group ranging in age from 10 to 61, yet safely navigable under the skill and care of our guides, Kervin and Cris. Kervin and Cris were experienced, responsible, and provided us with the security to feel safe at all times. They also brought energy that made the rafting experience fun and thrilling. The rafting experience itself was exhilarating. The first half of the rafting experience, in particular, truly challenged our endurance, yet we felt secure at all times under Kervin's and Cris' watchful navigation through the rapids. There were opportunities to swim in the river and, as an added bonus, Kervin fabulously shared his knowledge of the trees and wildlife that we saw along the river banks. This made the entire experience both exciting and interesting. The lunch provided at the conclusion of the experience was delicious. The live demonstration of sugar cane juice extraction with audience participation following lunch was an unexpected and delightful experience. I would highly recommend this experience if you have 3 or 4 days in the Arenal region.

Lots of fun - Gustavo and team were great. The rafting was not to long but it was fine. Wish it was longer. Overall George our guide was great. They took us for lunch which was nice and the food was good. Overall great trip
