River Rapids Adventure! - Orlando was a wonderful host and photographer. He went above and beyond. Our boat guide was Imon and he was very good at instructing us. We definitely got wet and the rapids were good. It does require mobility and ability to squat and sit back up quickly. It was a fun activity to enjoy!!

Wonderful Whitewater Rafting! - Excellent whitewater rafting experience. Great guide, Carlos. Orlando was an informative and fun host. The tour promoted a safe and fun experience on the river. Very tasty lunch. Definitely recommend this tour.

Do it!!! Even if you’re scared!!! Pura Vida!!! - AMAZING!!!!! I was sooooooo scared, but the staff (Sophia, Carlos, Pablo, Armando) were all reassuring!! Sophia checked us in, and answered all of my nervous questions, Armando was the driver and helped load/unload, Carlos was the guy in the kayak that went ahead of us, and took all the pictures!!! Pablo. What a guy!!! He got us down the river with clear instructions, educated us about different things in Costa Rica, and was just fabulous!!! 10/10 recommend!!! I am embarrassed I was so scared!!! What a great experience!!!

Best Pura Vida experience for rafting! - Absolutely INCREDIBLE experience with Costa Rica Descents! 🙌🌊 We did the Class II & III rapids as a family and it was the perfect mix of fun, adventure, and nonstop action. The river was exciting without being overwhelming, and every stretch had something new to keep us smiling (and screaming in the best way 😂). Our guide, Warren, truly went above and beyond. He made sure we hit the best lines for maximum splash and action, kept us laughing the entire time, and made everyone feel confident and safe. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does — his energy is contagious! From start to finish, everything was organized, professional, and FUN. If you’re in La Fortuna and want an unforgettable rafting experience, Costa Rica Descents is the way to go. We would 100% do it again! 🌴🚣‍♂️🔥

A Very Worthwhile Investment for a Fun Time! - Super excellent experience! Juan Carlos, Chamo, Jose, and Daniel were all amazing, super friendly, supportive, encouraging, and very funny/personable. Chamo was an extremely experienced guide with very clear instructions and made all of us feel safe and secure while also having a blast. Juan Carlos took amazing photos/videos, as well. Totally recommend this activity, especially for those looking for a fun and adventurous activity in Costa Rica.
