Great trip with Christopher! - We had an amazing time on this float with Christopher! We saw several cool birds, a basilisk, howler monkeys & a crocodile! Plus some bats under the bridge. The fruit was delicious & so was the vegetarian lunch, juice & coffee. Everyone with the company was helpful & friendly!

Getting connected to Costa Rica. - This humble raft tour became the highlight of our 3-gen family vaca. Just the right level for the grandparents, while the guide captivated the college kids with his stories of the jungle. We saw river otters, a kingfisher with a fish in his mouth, monkeys and other birds. The guide’s explanation of how Costa Rica balances capitalism and ecology left an admirable impression of the country and its values. No wonder people live longer here! This polished experience exceeded all expectations.

Highly recommend if you love wildlife and nature … ask for Carlos Sanchez - Wonderful experience with Carlos Sanchez who is a very knowledgeable guide and a true lover of nature. On the safari float we got to see a crocodile. Cayman, iguanas, sloths and howler monkeys in addition to a lot of birds. A delicious lunch and Costa Rican coffee was served later. Highly recommend this Safari float.

Amazing experience - Was worth the price. Our tour guide Carlos Sanchez was excellent. Was very detailed and knowledgeable. He made sure we saw wild animals. He even used his telescope to show us some animals. Lunch was good. Overall we really enjoyed the experience.

Perfect way to spend a morning! - This was so fun and relaxing! We saw a croc, monkeys and some cool birds. I would have enjoyed this even if we hadn't seen any animals because the scenery was so pretty. Esteban lead the group and he was funny and engaging. I feel bad, I'm blanking on the name of our individual raft guide but he was really nice and shared a lot of information (in Spanish) about the area. After the river float we returned to the meeting point where we had one of our more delicious meals of the trip. I had the vegetarian version: rice, beans and vegetables with a couple sauces-- all super tasty. After lunch there was farm tour which was also fun. We lost track of time and almost missed our next activity, we left in such a hurry that we forgot to leave them a tip. Ugh! Sorry!! Practical tips: Wear something you don't mind if it gets wet/splashed, definitely wear water shoes. No need to bring a change of clothes and drinking water was provided throughout the excursion. Travel light: slather on sunblock in advance, wear a hat and bring a camera. You'll have to leave your backpack behind on the bus during the float but will be reunited with it before lunch and the farm tour.

Fun Safari Float Adventure - Esteban was a fantastic tour guide! Lively, knowledgeable and passionate about his work, animals, Costa Rica (and comedy). My partner and I had a wonderful experience on the river with our raft captain Andres and saw many animals - including many types of birds, families of monkeys and a crocodile! We had a refreshing break and snacked on fresh cut fruit followed by a well balanced lunch. Esteban served us fresh brewed Costa Rican coffee and led us on a tour around the farm where some of the ingredients from lunch were grown! We also had a fresh sugar cane juice tasting! All the staff were kind, friendly and very hospitable. Great way to experience the nature and culture in La Fortuna. Amazing value! Would highly recommend!

Float and organic farm - We shared a dingy with 2 others plus our guide Estephan. We had to paddle forward or back to keep the boat on track in the current. We only saw a group of howler monkeys and a couple of birds. I thought the river would have been much richer in wildlife especially having read recent reviews but we were told it is luck of the draw and were kept occupied with Estephans jokes!! After the float we went to their cafe for a lunch of Casado and coffee followed by an interesting tour of their organic farm.
