Excellent rapelling and chocolate tour - From pickup to drop off this day was stress free. Chocolate tour was amazing, with covered walkways so rain won’t matter, stations set up to teach different parts of the chocolate making and ended with making our own chocolate bars. Rappelling was fun, safe, and beautiful. Lunch was nice, but small. Bathrooms, lockers, and changing rooms are clean, and well designed.

Incredible experience! - Chocolate tour was so much fun, everyone was so nice and knowledgeable. We loved making our own personal chocolate bar. The waterfall rappelling was one of the most fun things we’ve ever done. The guides were fun, professional, and they worked so hard to make it the perfect experience. Fantastic traditional lunch, wonderful coffee too. Can’t recommend them enough.

The Perfect Adventure! - This was one of the best things we did in Costa Rica!! The staff were all fantastic, and the waterfall repelling was so much fun, and a once in a lifetime experience. The chocolate tour was as educational and fun as it was delicious. I would recommend anyone visiting the area book this tour!

Don't look before you leap, go for it, Pure Trek is top notch. - My family of 4 (youngest is almost 6yo) jumped off a waterfall...several of them, and have the photos to prove it. The staff was very professional.. they must deal with neurotic moms worried about their 'baby' going over a waterfall daily. Even though both my kids went by themselves rappelling, a PureTrek professionals did all the lowering. At one point my youngest was upside down...I got a few gray hairs, but the harness kept him safe and with the biggest smile. There is some hiking/unevenness between waterfall rappels and you will get wet. Leave your phone(even if its waterproof) in the locker and let them take your pictures. It was only 25$ and the pictures are awesome. The chocolate tour didn't require any hiking, you basically stayed in an open pagoda the entire time.(with a little time to wander around) The informational session was very entertaining (even kept my kids sitting still). Everyone got to help process and sample cacao at different stages of processing. And we got to eat as much as we wanted (by tablespoon). Bring bug spray. The tour also included lunch at their facility (where the lockers and bathrooms were). Lunch was typical Costa Rican sat family style, were we got to meet and bond with other people trying this adventure.
