Fun and safe way to experience the beauty of Arenal Lake - We had a great time kayaking Lake Arenal with Jacamar Naturalist Tours. Our private excursion featured timely pickup from hotel, a quick drive to the kayak platform, and a fun adventure on the lake. Kayaking Lake Arenal was a wonderful way to see the volcano in a new way, with stunning views and pristine water. Our guide Nelson was fantastic, and he went out of his way to ensure our family felt safe. Our 10 year old daughter had a blast riding in a double kayak with him. Highly recommend this experience. We started at 8am and were back at our hotel by 11:15, so it's a great half day activity to weave into your visit to La Fortuna.

Private Kayaking Review - We had a private kayaking tour of the Arenal Lake (2 people) guided by Jayson. The views were spectacular and we were practically the only people of the entire lake. Jayson gave us just the right amount of information about the volcano and lake allowing us time to enjoy the quiet tranquility of lake.

Beautiful lake views! - This is by far the best way to see the lake! Our guide, Kevin, was phenomenal. He knew all about the history of the lake, and kept up a running commentary as we paddled along. I would definitely recommend giving this a try!

Great experience! - Myself & my husband thoroughly enjoyed this experience! Our guide Jose was very friendly and knowledable about the local area, history and nature which we found really interesting! It was my first time kayacking & Jose took time to go through how to kayack with us & safety information, so I felt comfortable. Jose went at our own pace whilst we were kayacking & encouraged us to take it all in & stop to chill / take photos if we wanted to. The fruit snack half way through was lovely & very much enjoyed! Prompt & easy pick up / drop off from / to our hotel too. Would recommend whilst visiting La Fortuna👌

Excellent tour on Lake Arenal - We've had relaxing morning kayaking tour on Lake Arenal. Beautiful surroundings, including great volcano views. The whole experience was greatly enhanced with superb guiding by Cesar. He provided a lot of information about the history of the place, its flora and fauna and led us to the places with best views while helping with photos. I'd definitely recommend this tour if you are in the La Fortuna/Arenal area.

Wonderful kayaking trip on Lake Arenal with Jacamar - Had a wonderful kayaking trip with Jason and Adrian from Jacamar today. Stupendous views and lots of interesting information from Jason. Our 3 (older) teenagers all thoroughly enjoyed it and we parents loved it to. Relaxed and fun with a great swim in the lake. Adrian and Jason were friendly and kind and took great care fitting our buoyancy aids. Lovely fresh pineapple and towels to dry at the end - I don't think we could have had a better experience. Highly recommended.

amazing and fun! please book! - we loved it super fun and we loved it. our guide on 07/6 was super nice and patient he was very kind and told us tons of fun stuff. we had delicious snack and water which was amazing after a workout. ty! wld rec this tour

Lots of fun! - Booked this for a girls trip, first thing in the morning. We lucked out and were the only ones! Carlos was great. He was laid back, funny, did everything we wanted. Really fun.

Gorgeous View of the Volcano! - The drive to the lake takes 20 minutes or so and we saw a peccary and coati along the way. Once we got there, Miguel, our tour guide, was great and helped my adult daughter and I into a double kayak. He and our driver carried the kayaks down to the lake for us and then he got in his single kayak and we started off for the end of the lake nearest the volcano. It was approximately 5 km away. I am not an experienced kayaker so it took us some time to get the hang of paddling in sync but Miguel was patient with us and was so friendly! He showed us birds along the way like the needle-nosed ducks and egrets. We even saw a scarlet macaw up close! It was soooo beautiful! By the time we made it back to the van, the wind was starting to pick up and it was the perfect time to get off the lake and share some pineapple, papaya, and bananas in a little picnic! I think the fruit in Costa Rica tastes better than any I've had. Maybe it's the exercise. Or maybe it's because it's just so good! I highly recommend spending some time kayaking with this tour group.

We were picked up from our hotel. Alphonso was a wonderfully attentive driver and Henry was a great guide. - Henry was a great guide. We had a very relaxed paddle and got to enjoy the amazing view and peaceful surroundings.
