My friend and I spent 10... - My friend and I spent 10 days around Costa Rica and this guided tour was the best tour we had! We were in a small group and Santiago (best guide ever) made us all feel like family. His knowledge of the entire park and its wildlife was exceptional & he had us smiling and laughing throughout the entire day! The lunch was excellent from a Soda in the town and the drive to and from was super exciting as we spotted some wildlife! The park itself is soooo beautiful and Santiago made sure we saw it all! 10/10 experience and we would do it all over again! Big love from T&T🇹🇹

Lovely hike & view of Rio Celeste, even in the rain! Our tour guide made our experience! - I'd highly recommend this tour for all ages. We were fortunate enough to have a small group and the best tour guide, Santiago. Without him, we would not have spotted any of the wildlife that he pointed out. He was also very entertaining and friendly, and his passion for what he does is evident. Santiago went above and beyond to ensure the group had the best possible experience. Even though it was an overcast/rainy day, the hike and waterfall view were still so worth it. Rio Celeste is definitely something to see!

Stunning view :) - Our experience was very nice, a little bit too much people during the trail but you know, there is a lot of tourist who wants to view beautiful landscape. It was really nice, we went with two kids 7 and 4 yo and it was perfect :)

Definitely worth the visit - My tour with Santiago was incredible, he is well known and liked by many of the local vendors. There were many other solo travelers on my trip so it was also a great day for making new friends. The park is very beautiful and definitely worth visiting. It can get quite busy so make sure you arrive on-time and stick with your group. Only negative is that the driving was a little bit crazy.

A must! - This trip was absolutely fabulous! Santiago was so knowledgeable and very fun. He was able to spot an amazing number of animals throughout the day and was a talented photographer who was happy to take amazing photos on all of our phones for us to take home with us! The water at Rio Celeste is such a gorgeous shade of blue. It was really spectacular. It was very hot while we were there, so the dip in the water at the end of the hike was very refreshing. If you only have a couple of days in La Fortuna, make sure that you take this tour on one of them!

Excellent - Excellent tour, it is quite a walk but it is worth it. Thanks to Jonathan, an excellent guide, he explained everything to us and also had very good vision to see snakes and your toucans.

A Good Deal - As a solo traveler, this was a great excursion to meet and become friends with other travelers. In addition to transporting us to the Rio Celeste, we stopped by a shop for breakfast treats and by a tree on the highway that had a sloth, which we saw through their mini-telescope. I appreciated hiking in the jungle with knowledgeable and caring guides, who helped us see creatures we wouldn't normally see on our own. The waterfall was grand, but the highlight was swimming in the river. The lunch was mid.

Let down by substandard minibus - Whilst the sights were unique, the minibus was far too hot in my opinion and it didn’t help that those on the trip were told to sit on the minibus before the guide arrived and so we were too hot before the van was even switched on. My wife asked the driver to stop after about 5 minutes as she felt faint but a kind youngster who was sitting at the front swapped seats with her. We must have travelled on 10 different minibuses during our time in Costa Rica and all the others had really good aircon but not this one. My seatbelt was broken too and so I couldn’t use it. The order of the day was strange: we went swimming immediately and then there was no one to check the tickets at the entrance to the park so there was twenty minute delay and then lunch was last at gone 3pm. The Rio Celeste was stunning though.
