Very informative - We were recommended this tour by a friend who had been. To be honest, at first we were unsure, as it’s not as posh exteriorly as some others we had looked at. However, the staff are amazing! Our tour guide was so knowledgeable, and we had so much fruit!!! Make sure you’re hungry when you go! We tried papaya, pineapple, sour sop, star fruit and more. It poured rain while we were there, yet we all kept on trekking. We learned so much about coffee and cacao origins. We tried fresh herbs, and had lovely chocolate and hot chocolate and coffee at the end. Would 100% recommend.

A Great Down-to-Earth Coffee/Chocolate Tour in La Fortuna - This chocolate tour was so good! Our guide Danier (I know I'm not spelling that correctly) was so knowledgeable and personable. He was able to answer all of our questions and knew the name of every plant on the property. We got to try SO much fruit. Honestly, Wendy was coming out every few minutes with fruit. Some of which I had never tried before (Soursop is a MUST). We were able to see the sloth that lives on the property (Maria) and see how coffee and chocolate are harvested small scale. My partner and I bought a bag of coffee at the end of the tour. Delicious. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour for anyone visiting La Fortuna!

Full bellies and interesting facts - This was a great tour we definitely got to experience more foods than I was expecting. Don’t go on a full belly! We tried chocolate, pineapple, banana, sugar cane, papaya, coffee, hot chocolate, and cacao nibs. The tour included interesting facts on the different plants and some demos of extracting the chocolate. It was nice to walk under the canopy of the cacao trees. It definitely had a small farm feel- not like a big tourist trap at all. Very chill vibes and I thought we got an excellent experience

Mooseasaurus and the homies see a sloth. 🦥 - Tour was very informational, got to see the diverse agriculture in the area. Got to taste many delicious treats and even got a glimpse of a drowsy sloth. 😁 Additionally the furry friends on the farm was the cherry on top. 10/10 would recommend.
