- Costa Rica Descents Adventure Company - The first activity in this exciting 3-in-1 combo is canyoning. The journey to Area 360 canyon takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival, participants will receive all necessary equipment, a safety briefing, and practice session. The adventure begins with a hike down to the first waterfall, followed by rappelling down a total of three waterfalls.
After completing the rappelling, the group will drive to the second activity, White Water Rafting, which is also about a 30-minute drive.
Participants will meet the river guide, who will assist with the rafting gear. Before embarking on the rafting adventure, there will be a safety briefing and practice session. The rafting experience lasts about 1 hour. The third activity is White Water Tubing, also for 1 hour. Participants will transition from the raft to a tube.
This is tubing on white water, so it’s more than just floating down the river. Participants need to paddle with their arms and hold on tightly. Upon reaching the take-out point, everyone will hop back onto the bus and return to La Fortuna. It’s lunchtime, and the group will enjoy a meal at an organic restaurant, concluding the day with a farm walk at the organic farm.
