Highly recommend for adventure seekers of all ages! - We had a true adventure white water rafting on the Balsa River! Carlos Rosales was our guide and captain. He was extremely knowledgeable of the river and its nuances. We were kept safe, had fun, and lost no one to the river. The tour is about 1 hour of rapids followed by 1 hour of a little less rapids with some easy parts. Adventure includes a river-side stop for fresh cut fruit and lunch. Stealthily placed photographers take action photos which are optional and available for a modest price.

Brian, Peluche and Colon... - Brian, Peluche and Colon were fantastic guides. The took us through some very fun rapids. My parents in their 50s loved it and had a great time. My siblings and I in our 20s also had a fantastic time. They pointed out wild life as we paddled down the river. Oh that.

Time of my life! - I was a first time rafter. I thought I had booked my trip, but didn’t realize until the night before - so I appreciated them accommodating my last minute booking! Andres went over safety and emphasized its importance, which showed on the trip! As we got into the water I was a little nervous, but very soon of getting in the rhythm it was SO fun! We even had two little ones riding with us and they had a blast! When we went to depart, we saw a couple other companies that had 50 - 100 people on 20 ish rafts, and it made me appreciate that we had a much smaller crew and a couple of boats - it felt more personal and getting to meet the fellow rafters. Monkey Park was really cool and unique place to have lunch, and it was so delicious! Also, I happened to be the only person that had bought the photo package (I am SO happy I did and that they offered it!) lots of photos, and think others that were in my photos wanted them, too! Really a great experience and a great team of people to do this with!

Great Day with guide Alex - Had a wonderful experience with Arenal rafting. From the one-time hotel pickup to the delicious lunch afterwards, all was top notch. Our guide, Alex was professional, informative and fun.

White Water Rafting - We booked white water rafting via our Hotel (Arenal Springs), collected by Andres and his team, only four us, the personal service was excellent, we had a smaller boat and did not have to share which made the experience more exciting. Andres fully briefed us plus he had a colleague who acted as forward spotter for safety because of the changes in the river. We opted for 4/3 grade in rapids, right choice! Stopped towards the end for some fruit as a refreshment, and on transfer back we had lunch. Overall a fantastic experience, the kids (two girls, one teenager) both enjoyed their first white water rafting experience, only negative was the cost of the photos which you download and choose for yourself, could have been a bit cheaper, but would do it again.

Awesome day - Amazing experience. This was my second time rafting in La Fortuna and it far exceeded my first experience. Excellent and personable guides that made the trip more enjoyable and social. We went though a long stretch of solid rapids without anyone even coming close to falling out of the raft. they had a bunch of strangers acting like a finely tuned team! Highly recommend using these guys.

So much fun! - What an adventure! Thank you guys for making us feel save the whole trip and having so much fun (and yes, very wet clothes) :-)

Just Awesome - Booked just the night before and could not have had a better experience. From start to end this tour was a well oiled machine and each of the guides was top notch amd eager to help out wherever needed. Juan was great at passing along info and instructions and our bout guide Paolo was perfect for our group. His personality meshed very well with us. We had a small injury on the boat where someone got hit by something in the nose causing a small cut but the guides swiftly jumped into action and made sure to take any needed care. Safety was definitely their priority. The fruit and lunch afterward were definitely an unexpected bonus. If you are going to do some rafting in La Fortuna, look no further than this outfit because they are amazing!
