Experience the thrill of floating down the Arenal River’s swift currents! We provide three distinct opportunities throughout the day for this excursion, which includes round-trip transportation from your hotel in La Fortuna.
The journey from the main welcome area to the river gorge takes a mere five minutes by car. Amongst the top activities at Arenal Volcano.
A brief five-minute stroll through the woodland brings us to the indigenous Maleku Village at the Arenal River’s base. Here, residents present a 20-minute orientation about their cultural practices, medicinal knowledge, and customs. Following this, we’ll grab our tubes and trek for about ten minutes to reach the river. At this juncture, we participate in a tubing voyage and receive a concise rundown on safety procedures. A short trek later, we find ourselves at the entrance to the river, poised to commence our tubing journey.
