Best conversation I had in Costa Rica! - Emmanuel was extremely knowledgeable about plant and animal life and took great interest in showing us all that he knew about the Volcano and the surrounding ecosystem. He also a very graciously answered all of our dumb American questions. When we come back we will be sure to ask for Emmanuel again!

The best guide for Arenal Volcano - Emmanuel is a great guide. Not only did he tell us everything about the volcano and the animals we found, but he also told us many things we didn’t know about the country. It was a very entertaining and enriching morning. Highly recommended!

Guided hike a MUST with Emmanuel! - Emmanuel is the man! Ask for him for this tour and you won’t be disappointed. His passion is as genuine as it is contagious, and you will learn a ton along the way and have the most interesting discussions about the animals and the ecosystem they inhabit. He is a native to the area and made the hike incredibly enjoyable and thought provoking!

Great walk with lots of animals - We did the vulcano walk with Emmanuel. We walked quietly and easy in order to spot the most animals. We got rewarded. We saw a sloth, the collored trogon (so hard to spot), the keelbilled and chesnut tucan, the black corrasow, several hummingbirds and for dessert a giant anteater. Emmanual is a very nice and knowledgable guide who takes great pride in his job. He knows exactly what to look for and uses all his senses to find the animals. We also found his knowledge about the origin of La Fortuna very intetesting. We would highly recommend this tour.

Beauty All Around - Emanuel was our guide for the Arenal Volcano Tour and we truly felt we were hiking along with a very knowledgeable friend. Emanuel was so enthusiastic about sharing his playground with us, and was eager to answer all our questions. The trails are marked and a map is provided but we all agreed that we wouldn't have seen a large portion of the wildlife or even really appreciated the plant life without a guide. Especially one as committed and passionate as Emanuel. At the end of our tour, he surprised us with one of the best pineapples I've ever had. He recommended a great soda that we hit up for lunch and we loved it so much, we went back for breakfast there next day. Definitely recommend! ¡Gracias por todo Emanuel! ¡Pura vida!

Best tour in Costa Rica - Went on this guided tour solo and had the most amazing time! Emmanuel is incredibly knowledgeable and it’s clear he is so passionate about nature and teaching others about the beautiful culture and history of Costa Rica. Would highly recommend to go on a guided tour with him! You will learn a lot :)

Honest guide - The day of our tour had really bad weather (heavy rain, poor visibility) despite being during the dry season. The guide contacted us the morning of our tour saying that it would not be very good given the weather. He offered to watch the weather and see if it maybe cleared later in the day. It didn't. He did refund us though!

The way to experience Arenal - Emanuel was a fantastic guide and has deep knowledge of the area and native plants and animals. We were lucky enough to see monkeys and a variety of birds due to Emanuel’s expertise at spotting! It was like taking a hike with a friend. What an experience - We highly recommend Emanuel’s company!

Very Disappointing - Our tour operator gave me the location to meet and no showed. I messaged him repeatedly and got no response from him. I’m very disappointed with this experience as my refund request was denied without an explanation. Terrible customer service and terrible experience.
