La Fortuna Tour 🤙🏽 - Neifryn was an amazing guide! Full day of activities on our tour and he was very funny and knowledgable. He made our trip memorable.

Amazing chocolate tour very informative - Had one of the best guides named Isaac had tons of information about the sugar cane and old school ways of processing and harvesting make sure you tip him !! All and all a great experience

Must Do Volcano Hike - Tour was awesome!!! It was raining the whole time but once you are in the rainforest you don’t really feel the rain. Josef was an amazing tour guide, extremely knowledgeable. Got to see the volcano before the clouds covered it up. Finished the tour with a dip in the natural springs which was perfect to wrap up the tour. Also got a shot of moonshine 😝!

What a marvelous trip! - Our guide was great, knowledgeable, enthuziastic, he payed attention to everyone, and showed us a lot of hiden gems. We learned a lot about rainforest ecosystem, interesting facts about wild life and volcanos. Thank you Eric for everything, we warmly reccomend you to anyone who is up to a great adventure!

What a view - Arenal volcano hike with Hantz, a guide who was awesome and taught us a lot, prepare your thighs and calves for the ascent but the view is worth it 🤩

Awesome volcano hike - Fabulous trip with Carlos! The first hike included information on the flora and fauna at the foot of the volcano. Later he described how the last eruption affected the nearby towns. The second hike we saw Toucans, Pizzolas (sp?) and other wildlife. Again, Carlos knew where to find elusive red eyed frogs and other points of interest. So very happy with the tour.

Great tour!!! - It was a great experience! The guides are experienced and fun! The scenery is, of course, beautiful and rugged. And the climb to the volcano is not that advanced. It’s steep, but the terrain is moderate in difficulty. From reading the reviews about tardiness, they were late, but they rely heavily upon the timeliness of their clients being ready for the shuttle, as they go from hotel to hotel. Plus- PURA VIDA baby!!!

Not worth the price - just ok, not great - The operating company did not communicate any info prior to the activity. They arrived to pick us up 1 hour late - had to call them twice to see if they were coming. I had tried to contact them 2 days prior on the Viator app to confirm pickup time and had gotten no response. The actual activity was misrepresented on Viator. There was only 1 short volcano hike instead of 2 as stated in the description. The main tour guide was ok, and very limited English spoken by the 2nd guide so felt we didn’t get all the info we should have. Overall it looked like other groups we passed had better guides and felt this was not worth the price. The tour guide did his best to find wildlife so that was a plus.

Nice guide. Disorganized tours. - Positive: Isac our guide was enthusastic and helpful. Negative: The tour was disorganized and co-mingled with other tours. We spent the majority of our time standing around or on buses waiting as people were shuffled around. Our buses were shared with groups also doing geothermal pools, waterfall, and river tours. Isac did well keeping us informed however the tour company does not respect the time of it’s customers.
