- Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather for the tour (!), you will be given the option of an alternative date or a full refund.
- Children only above 5 years old and must be accompanied by an adult
- All participants should have a confident level of fitness and understand that this tour is not an easy stroll of leisure walking, at some point we will need to jump and walk on the rocks, which requires some balancing skills. The tour guide is there to assist, but overall self-confidence and some fitness is required.
- • Good shoes are essential! Ideally a pair of trekking shoes and water shoes, as we will walk on land/rocks and enter water as well. Please no flip flops! • A minimum of 1.5L drinking water (per person) is essential! Light lunch which is mostly fruits will be provided. • Please go on a tour light - towel, bathing suit/bikini, camera, sunscreen, mosquito repellent (if needed).
- Cruise liner clients will be refunded 50% cost, if cancelled withing 24 hours of the starting time, in case of ship’s unability to dock at the port of La Digue
- Clients need to be either on La Digue or Praslin. Clients who are staying on Mahe, please refrain from booking this tour, as it will not be enough time for you to travel to La Digue and be on time for the tour.

A must do to truly see the natural beauty of La Digue! - Probably one of the coolest hikes I have been on. It is not easy but it is very rewarding and their is definitely an element of risk. Our guide was so cool and knowledgeable. The scenery was fantastic and we got to visit places we would have never seen on our own. If I ever go back to La Digue I would 100% do this all over again as it was such a good hike.

The best guide to discover La Digue - Gerard is a fantastic & interactive guide with a vast knowledge of the flora & fauna of the island.
It is not just a hike through beautiful scenery but also a fun discovery of La Digue and it's essence.

Must to do! - If you are fit enough, this tour is a must to do! The trail is more beautiful than the other famous beaches in my opinion. Gerard was a fantastic guide. We went through the dungle at these tiny trails, went through the top of the costal rocks, saw the most amazing sights without any other people, Gerard told about the animals and plants and had a part of the trail the ocean. Definitely recommended!

An adventure on La Digue - Gerard was a really great guide. He explained us a lot about flora and fauna. The tour requires a certain surefootedness. In the difficult places, Gerard always supported us well, so we never felt overwhelmed. A highlight was lunch: Fresh fruits and samosas. We had a wonderful day - thank you Gerard.

Highly recommended! - Nice recommended tour! Gerard explains some things about the local flora and fauna during the trip, when you arrive at Anse Marron you have time for a refreshing bath and Gerard conjures up a nicely braided basket with delicious fruits and samosas in it:) Sturdy footwear is already a must for the way to Anse Marron and even after. And you should also bring sure-footedness. Gerard, however, helps with difficult passages. We have had a very nice day. Also the group that day was great. Highly recommended!

Gerard is mega! Everyone... - Gerard is mega! For those who think of doing this tour without a guide: no chance. We always try to master everything on our own, but on this tour comes a point where it is impossible to find the way unless you know it. Gerard is definitely worth the price, unlike the other guides he takes his time, explains a lot and gives enough time to enjoy the island

So much more then we expected! - My husband and I got so much more then we expected! After reading all the reviews it still didn't describe how wonderful our experience would be. The hike is well paced, it is not hard and the terrain often changes, so it keeps beeing interesting. The beach Anse Marron was gorgeous! Even snorkeling was fruitful and full of exotic fish. Gerrard is a master of knowledge and passionate about nature, but also very friendly and kind. The lunch on the beach was delicious, just what we needed. If there were 10 stars, I would give them gladly!
