Highlight of an AWESOME trip to Costa Rica - Booked a private ATV tour of the Hacienda El Cenizaro cattle ranch for myself, my son, and brother-in-law. It was the most enjoyable, exciting, and beautiful part of a really fantastic trip to Costa Rica. Delighted to call out our guide, Popeye, who is just about the most energetic tour guide I've ever met. He's full of positive and friendly energy, and his great attitude made our tour fun from the beginning. Popeye is an MVP of this very professional operation! The property is a beautiful working cattle ranch, filled with these beautiful Brahmin cattle. You'll see plenty of dried-out cow patties in the lower pastures of this very well-maintained property. As you climb through the different segments of the private land, you'll be treated to new views, vistas, and dimensions of the Northern Costa Rican landscape. It was grand and humbling. We also saw some howler monkeys, which was very cool. The adventure level was perfect for my teenage son, and still within the comfort zone of a couple of city dwelling dudes. My wife and daughter could've surely handled the controls of the ATV. More fun for a true adventure seeker. ATV Adventure - My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the two hour ATV tour we took on 12/29/2019. Popeye was our guide and he did an excellent job. Plenty to see

Daughter and I did horseback riding and ATV for my husband and son - This was a great combination that satisfied the various needs of my family members. My son and his dad did an ATV ride and my daughter and I did the horseback riding and they accommodated us at the same time which was much appreciated. The horses were friendly and gentle. I forgot my phone so Jeff took photos of my daughter and I and what's app'd them to me later on which was above and beyond what you'd expect! thanks for a great morning. My daughter spotted an armadillo on the grounds I didn't see it - but it was a very relaxing way to spend a morning. Great views from the property.

Horseback Riding - Awesome! - We went on a 2 hour horseback ride with our 5 year old and 8 year old daughters. They absolutely loved it. The staff were very helpful, professional and friendly. I rode with my 5 year old on my horse (she sat on a blanket at the front of the saddle) and we had the best time together. The scenery was spectacular and the horses were gentle and stayed 'on course.' Definitely highly recommend!

Jonathon is the best tour guide EVER!!!! - We did amazing horse back riding through the jungle, we saw amazing wildlife such as Howler monkeys, Spider monkeys, Snakes and White Faced Capuchin Monkeys, the horses where amazing too!!! He is the best tour guide EVER!!!! Name:Bella Age:9

Not your average resort excursion - We just returned from a wonderful week at Dreams Las Mareas is in Costa Rica. We were looking for an excursion close to the resort where we didn't have to commit to a long drive with both of our young children. El Cenizaro was a friendly family run business where the guide Jonathan was friendly and informative and spoke perfect English. He was very knowledgeable of the several monkey species we saw and took time to discuss Costa Rica and its commitment to the environment and to its natural wildlife and habitat. No one on the tour had ridden ATVs before and he was thorough in his pre-tour checklist making all appropriate safety assurances for the kids. The terrain was not your average flat incline but rather fulll of boulders rocks mud holes and things that made it fun. Likewise the horseback riding included traversing creek beds and we were allowed to Gallup the horses to our experience level. Not only did we leave feeling we had had a wonderful excursion but had a genuine cultural experience. It was well worth the money.

Fantastic - Beautiful views, super nice ATV, and the staff was amazing! When visiting Costa Rica this is a most do! Jonathan is the best guide ever!

Jonathan is awesome - The horses are well taken care of and Jonathan made our ride awesome by allowing us to spend some time in free pasture trotting around!

Super great experience and guide! - My husband and I had a wonderful experience horseback and ATV riding at Hacienda el Cenizaro. Our guide, Jonathan, was so knowledgeable, friendly, and we could tell he really loved his job, which made the experience so much more enjoyable. The ride was beautiful through so many different landscapes and we learned so much from Jonathan about the ranch, Costa Rica, and wildlife. The ATV tour was a blast and had amazing views through the property. Overall, the customer service made our experience top notch.

Pura Vida! - Both the ATV tour and horseback ride are amazing tours full of excitement and wildlife. My family got to see many monkeys and Jonathan was an awesome tour guide! He really knows a lot about Costa Rica and I could tell how passionate he was at his job. I felt truly cared for and learned a lot about the local region and Costa Rica in general. If you are scared of ATV-ing or horses, don't worry because the guides are really helpful and know what they are doing. If you are in the area, you cannot miss this tour. Pura Vida!!
