LA AGUACATERA - We leave Santa Marta at 6:00 a.m., until we reach the path “La Aguacatera”, where we will start the horseback riding or hiking.
At 9:00 a.m., we will be arriving at a rural restaurant with vegetarian food, where the traveler will be able to choose a delicious and healthy breakfast from among the available options.
At 10:00 am. We start hiking or horseback riding to a permitted place, before entering the farm called “Chocoserrano” where we will begin an experience through the cocoa plantations. There you can enjoy the various products derived from cocoa that are offered there.
At 1:00 p.m. We will have a typical lunch of the region at the cocoa farm. At 2:00 p.m. We will move towards some beautiful waterfalls of approximately 6 meters high, where you can immerse yourself in its waters and enjoy the place. (Due to variations in the water level, these visits are made according to the time of year).
At 4:00 pm. return to Santa Marta.

Named ‘Chocoserrano’, this expedition lets you discover one of the many products created from cocoa available at the locale. This artisan table chocolate, infused with natural flavours, imitates the Sierra’s taste. It is 100% organic and hand-made. You’ll have the opportunity to see the cocoa plantations, led by local women and guided by adept staff who will submerge you in this exceptional world known as ‘cocoa’.
You’ll come across other cocoa derivates like cocoa mix, granola, nougat, brownie, and chocolate bread, all crafted by local rural families in the area.
This cocoa, aside from being delicious, is extremely health-beneficial. Unique to the world, it is characterized by its low cadmium content. Cadmium is a toxic pollutant metal, which makes this particular cocoa exceptionally special and safe.
