Perfectly authentic with a personal touch - The host management was very easy to communicate with, being able to speak English. And I loved that our actual guide through the tea ceremony was very traditional and knowledgeable in the art of the ceremony. Overall, this experience felt extremely authentic and personal. And the location was easy to find with the help of the coordinates shared through Viator! Loved the chill and traditional neighborhood. My wife and I absolutely loved the whole experience! We are filled with gratitude.

Excellent ceremony - Our gracious and beautiful host was waiting in the corner with a sign to direct us to the tea ceremony. Once inside she explained in perfect English how to enjoy the ceremony fully and how to be respectful. We enjoyed sweet treats and a history of tea making in Japan. The highlight was getting to make our own delicious matcha tea and having photos with our host.

Excellent Tea Ceremony - Excellent experience. The host June met us at the corner of the street and directed us to the Tea room. We were a small group so the experience felt intimate and personal. June carefully explained the history in perfect English and talked us through the ceremony carefully. There were very enjoyable sweet treats provided. Photos were encouraged. Overall, a wonderful glimpse of traditional Japan!
