Sushi making fun! - The Sushi making with Kana was so much fun! Kana showed us patiently and very enthusiastically how to roll and prepare makis and nigiris. The ingredients were super fresh and afterwards we could enjoy our self-made sushi! Kana is super nice and attentive. It was a pleasure to talk to her and we had a nice conversation. A big thank you to Kana and also to Kanas nice and supportive colleague! A+S

If I could give this 10 stars, I would!! - What a great time we had! Our hosts made us feel very welcome, and provided an outstanding cultural experience that allowed us to explore living and working in Japan, and Kyoto in particular. All ingredients were provided, and our hostess Kana patiently explained the method of making sushi. After patiently guiding us to making our own sushi, we enjoyed the product of our labor plus a miso soup that was served with it. Once done, Kana generously gifted us tools to make sushi on our own after we return home. Cannot wait to try!!

Sushi making in Kyoto - We were thrilled with the cleanliness and traditional kitchen where we learned how to make two types of sushi. The group was small so we got a lot of individual attention with the cooking instructions. At the end we got to eat our sushi creation. We made so much that it was impossible to eat all of it. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes to cook or who likes to eat fresh sushi.
