Don’t miss this sushi class in Kyoto! - Take home a sushi experience that will give you the skills to replicate a bit of Japan after you have returned home! Kana and her team have put together a beautiful and fun sushi making lesson, set in a serene space, located in a lovely residential neighborhood. Kana was a delightful and very engaging host who was eager to share some of her culture and just as interested to learn more about ours. You will leave feeling very full once you’ve eaten your creations but you can easily walk it off by visiting some beautiful temples nearby. Our teens loved the experience and are looking forward to trying out their new skills at home!

Wonderful - Terrific! Kana is a wonderful teacher who not only teaches you bout Sushi, but gets to know you, and you get to know her. Great to interact with a local. In a nice house in a residential area. We’d made sushi before, but as we discovered, not correctly. Go hungry - plenty of sushi to eat!

Amazing class. 100% reccomend this class over any other ones - This class is a must do when coming to Japan. Our teacher Kana was a lovely host, so welcoming. The class was 6 people & we got to make nigiri and temaki. It was lovely to learn about the culture and taste the fresh fish straight from nishki market. One of the best experiences for a good price as well. This is the best value for money compared to other sushi classes

Must do In kyoto! - What a wonderful experience with Kana! They are so welcoming. You learn to make Nigiri and makizushi. She was informative of Japanese culture and shared interesting facts. The fish was fresh and the sushi we made tasted great(i did make it with love). The gift bag at the end was the icing on the cake. Chopsticks and stand, sushi bamboo rolling mat and recipe for the rice. I looked into other sushi making classes but this was the best by far!

Good intro to sushi making - Thank you for a great introduction to sushi making. My 11yr old son and I enjoyed making (and eating) the two different types of sushi. Each step was explained well and carefully supervised. The studio was light, airy and clean. We were happy with our gift at the end. A nice change from visiting temples. Tip- leave plenty of time to get there so that the class can start on time.

An outstanding experience not to be missed - Fantastic experience! Kana and her team were really nice. The space is beautiful, high quality ingredients and friendly atmosphere. Kana explained some facts about Kyoto, Japan and sushi during the workshop, which was a bonus. We also had a nice gift at the end of the session. Can’t recommend it enough!

Fantastic experience with beautiful people - Kana and her team were the best. In a happy, welcoming and clean environment we got to make some excellent fresh sushi ourselves. My daughter and I think it's the best experience we've had in Japan so far. Don't eat a big meal beforehand as you make a lot of sushi and it would be a shame not to eat out all.

Happy, Fun and DELICIOUS - This was simply the pinnacle of our experiences in Japan. I'm on a trip with my 13 year old daughter, and we just smiled all the way through the class. Kana and her team were amazing. So much fun making delicious food in clean and happy environment. Don't have a big meal beforehand as you make plenty of yummy sushi to eat at the end.
