The tour was a lot of fun and we enjoyed the company of the other group members. The history of the traditional way of making the sake was very interesting.

Sake tour with Yukari = 5 stars - Such a good time. If you have an interest in learning about and consuming sake this tour is for you. We spent a good amount of time at the museum; enough to be informed, but not not bored. We also got some city lore as we walked, which I always appreciate. The quantity of samples at the end really allows you to taste the range of flavors sake can hold. If you're lucky, like us, you'll get Yukari as a tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. And she was so helpful answering other, non sake, related questions we had about our time in Kyoto.

Had a fun time - I had a very good time on this tour and recommend it. Sure, you could visit each of the places individually without a tour guide as other reviewers have commented, but for me it is worth the small extra cost to have someone there to answer questions in English and make the trip seamless and fun. It’s also great to be around other travelers who you can share stories and experiences with. Thank you for the experience!
