Fun kimono experience in Kyoto - We went one week after the peak season for autumn leaves. Arrived on time for our reserved time at 11 am. Few other peoplethere but no wait, the girl there can speak English and immediately show us the kimono we can choose from. Lots of selection and both me and my bf were able to choose the ones we like. Then in the fitting room there were older age Japanese ladies help with putting on the kimono, tie up with self selected belt. When done dressing, pick a bag and a pair of Japanese sandals (not wooden, easy to walk). All done and ready to go in about 30mins. I didn't pay 1500 yen for hair set up and just made a simple bun myself. Nice temples, backdrops and park close to the shop. We walked around 2 hrs and already had enough photos. Overall it was a nice and fun experience.

Wonderful experience! - Had a great time and the staff was wonderful! Got in and out in about an hour. We got there a little early, but they checked us in anyway.

Good value would use again - Worth booking online before going, better value, and get better price with hair and make up too. Outfits are really nice, very efficient get tou dressed and lots of choices. Little tricky to find shop and was hard to prebooking photographer both viator and I called no one answered, so had to make do with selfies

Amazing experience - We really had a wonderful time visiting Yasaka Shrine wearing traditional yukata and kimono. The staff of the rental place where very helpful and accommodating

Beautifully captured! - This was amazing team, very professional. They had a gorgeous selection of kimonos and yukatas. The place was clean and staff were very welcoming and very helpful. The team also had a numbered bag to store your per sonal belongings which is returned once you return the rental at 5pm. This rental of traditional wear set the scene for the rest of our trip in Kyoto and we had a beautiful day as a result. I highly recommend this opportunity.

No Regrets, Awesome Experience! - One of our favorite experiences in all of Japan was this! We had tough time finding the place via directions on Uber (taxi) app, but after being dropped off a few blocks away, we found it. Right away they greeted us, and very calmly instructed us what to do. My wife and two daughters got dolled up, and I was pretty quick. I did not wear the wooden shoes, instead opting for my cool NoBulls. One daughter wore what they offered us. Then we were off sightseeing and fitting right in. Everyone was cool to us, and one of my fav Dad/husband moments was seeing the girls all standing under a tree in their kimonos hiding from the healthy sun. I highly recommend this experience!

Fun dressing up - We enjoyed our experience. Yes, in the price you only have a set number of Kimonos (25) to choose from but that was fine. All still lovely colours and if you want you can pay more for more choice but I couldn’t see a huge difference and I really loved the one I chose. Definitely worth doing! We loved it

Cute kimono experience - The experience of wearing Japanese kimono was very nice and we both looked cute in our kimonos! However, we had to wait for quite a bit for some part of the process (recommended 30mins but it was longer than 1 hour) despite the fact that we had a time slot booked. Some of the staff were very helpful and friendly (more so than others). The booking fee only allows your the pick the basic range of kimonos (4000-5000 yen range) and the next level up is 7000 and it goes higher.
