A great cultural experience - A very good cultural experience, especially for kids. The performance is for a small group of people, followed by an interactive mini class. If you are an expert in Japanese culture, this may not suit you. Otherwise, highly recommended!

Dramatic, exciting, instructive - The experience was about an hour long and comprised a dramatic performance by 4 players. We were shown moves and stances with samurai swords and fans and also learned a little history. It was very professionally executed and was an insight into that world. Would highly recommend

Enjoyed it very much. Kids 9,11 loved it. - We enjoyed the show and little mini-course a lot. The performance gives a brief summary of various samurai moves. Then comes a brief show. Afterwards we had the opportunity to learn the most basic moves ourselves. That was a lot of fun. Our 11 and 9 old daughters thoroughly enjoyed that. The venue is a tad run-down but that doesn’t diminish the enjoyment

We were expecting... - We were expecting something of a very serious battle performance, but it turned out to be a fun experience and at the same time, a good learning experience. If you're expecting like a battle of swords, please don't come. If you are interested to learn about how samurais used their weapons to convey their emotions, it will be a nice experience.
