Perfect Family Activity - We really enjoyed our time cooking with Miho. She is so kind, patient, and knowledgeable. We came with our teenage sons and Miho did an excellent job making it fun for all of us. The food was delicious too! She even gave us a tour of the Japanese grocery store afterwards which was fun. Thank you, Miho!!

Great cooking class in Kyoto - Really good cooking class. We learnt a lot about Japanese cuisine and basic ingredients, and prepared really tasty food. We are a family with 3 young children and they adapted the menu accordingly, were very patient and kid friendly during the class. The traditional Japanese house is a lovely addition to the overall experience. Highly recommend

Fantastic and authentic activity - A highlight of our trip to Japan. This was a half-day activity. The workshop took place in a typical Japanese home. We were only 4 participants. We prepared a meal together and then sat down for lunch. After the lunch we prepared we continued with our delightful guide to a local supermarket. The whole thing felt so authentic. And it is appropriate for vegetarians if you let her know in advance.

Fun and Educational! - Fantastic experience! My family of five took a cooking class on our trip and it was one of our favorite experiences in Japan. Miho was great at giving everyone jobs that fit their age and abilities so that everyone was involved. My six year old loved mixing. My eleven year old handled frying tempura. The meal itself was delicious when we sat down to eat it. The kids especially loved the mochi ice cream! Highly recommend this fun and educational experience.
