Bike tour was a great way to see Kyoto sites - Great day out. Perfect way to see some of the key site of Kyoto. Our guide, Indra was very knowledgeable, friendly and personable. He shared his knowledge and insights into the city, sites and culture. Thoroughly enjoyed lunch at a hidden local restaurant with local food too. Tour was a good pace and we didn’t feel too rushed at any of the stops. Bikes were modern and of good quality. Would recommend this tour to others.

A perfect day in Kyoto - We absolutely loved our bike tour through Kyoto. My wife and I were celebrating our honeymoon, and this was surely a highlight. We didn’t have long in Kyoto, so we wanted to catch the main sights in a day. This tour checked that box and then some! We caught the majority of the shrines/templed we wanted to see, all while exploring the inner-workings of the city streets as we zipped by. Also included was a scrumptious lunch at a conveyer belt sushi restaurant, another experience my wife and I were looking forward to while in Japan! Our tour guide, Julian, also made the entire experience very special. He was the perfect blend of funny, knowledgeable, relaxed, and attentive. He was a natural people person, and I noticed that he made a point to get to know every single member of the tour to ensure they were enjoying themselves. We couldn’t have been happier with this tour. Thanks Julian!

Comprehensive fun Kyoto! - This was a fun and efficient way to see most of Kyoto while getting in some good exercise. The ride was about 40km with decent bikes and minimal climbs. My companion used an e-bike (3000 yen supplement) just for a bit extra confidence. The group leader, Julian, was kind and informative and we enjoyed our five fellow group members representing four different countries. Added bonus was entertaining conveyor belt sushi lunch. You’ll be glad you did this one!!

Never too old to ride and have fun. - Great weather and great guide. Quinn was well educated in the area. I highly recommend this tour. My 70 year old husband was able to keep up with the twenty year olds on the bikes.

Fantastic bike tour - a trip highlight - Loved our trip with Juan. We had such a limited time in Kyoto & this was an outstanding way to see the cities highlights & all the little bits in between.

Great way to see Kyoto! - This was such a fun tour - a great way to see Kyoto and get some exercise! Our tour guide Juan was very knowledgeable and fun. He provided a good amount of history, sprinkled with some jokes and got some great photos for us throughout the tour. The best thing about being on a bike is that you get to see parts of Kyoto you wouldn't otherwise cover by foot and you get to cover alot of ground in one day. Juan and the team prepare you well for biking the streets of Kyoto and there is lots of instruction along the way. I would say that the full day tour is a fair amount of biking so be prepared, especially if it is hot! If you haven't been on a bike in a while, I suggest getting an ebike. I did not and my legs were very sore the next day! It's about a 22km route in total but mostly flat with stops in between. We were out from about 930-5pm.

Fantastic tour company & guide - This tour company is fantastic! We did the full day tour of Kyoto, and it couldn't have been better. We toured all the best sites, with the bonus of cycling down some beautiful streets which we wouldn't have found on our own. Jay was a superb guide. He was patient, knowledgeable, and great company. He took lots of photos of us all, which are priceless when you travel as a couple, as you don't get many photos of the two of you. The absolute highlight though, was the lunch. We went to a traditional Japanese restaurant for the best meal of udon noodles, and sat chatting about all things Japan. This tour is worth every penny, as you get to see all the sites and more, through the eyes of a local.
