Best tour ever! Highly recommend it! - This was by far the best tour I ever did and one of the best experiences ever! The tour was so well organized, informativ and fun. We even got to see some Geikos, which was an absolute highlight. Our tour guide showed us around the city and explained a lot of things about Kyoto and the traditions, the religions and the culture. I can only highly recommend this tour!

Fabulous Evening Activity in Kyoto - A highlight of my brief visit of Kyoto. Nile offers wonderful insights to the world of geikos and maikos. He leads a walking tour of the geisha districts and shares memorable stories and interesting information regarding not only the geisha world, but the culture and practice of Shinto and Buddhist traditions. A must do!

Tasteful Experience - Beautiful @ Night - Really great way to learn a little about the Kyoto and Japanese culture. I found it much more enriching than walking through the streets like I normally would! It was especially nice doing the night tour (@8pm) and exoeriencing the Kyoto streets much quiter and beautifully lit with street lanterns. Thanks to Kevin the tour guide for being friendly, open, and a big komokaburi of knowledge!

Excellent night time tour of Kyoto - We wanted an introduction to Kyoto’s Geisha district and history so booked onto this tour. Although it was one of the later starts (8pm) it meant the city was beginning to quieten down and we had many of the sights to ourselves. Our guide Kevin was really knowledgeable about Kyoto and clearly loves the city which made it a really enjoyable experience to do the tour with him. We learnt so much about Shinto, Buddhist and Zen Buddhist traditions, the history of the city and the role of Meikos and Geikos. Kevin also made sure we understood the rules of visiting the Geisha district and we were lucky enough to see a few Meikos and Geikos on the streets. Wonderful tour and fully recommend!

Discover Kyoto's Geisha District of Gyon - We had our tour with Kevin. I have to say that the tour was a highlight of our time in Kyoto. Kevin's knowledge and passion of Geisha culture and entire area of Higashiama district gave us great perspective of Japanese roots. I strongly recommend this tour.
