- Arashiyama - Saga-Arashiyama Station: Meet at the Saga-Arashiyama Station, where you can take a few minutes to explore the surrounding area and get acquainted with your group.
- The Bamboo Forest Trail - Bamboo Grove: From the station, we will head to the famous Bamboo Grove, which is only a few minutes away. This serene path is surrounded by towering bamboo trees, and the natural beauty of this area will leave you in awe.
- Tenryu-ji Temple Sogenchi Teien - Tenryu-ji Garden. After the Bamboo Grove, we will visit the Tenryuji Garden, which is an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its beautiful garden is considered one of the best garden in Japan.
- Arashiyama - Kimono Forest: From Tenryuji Temple we will walk to the nearby Arashiyama Kimono Forest, which is an impressive installation of 600 colorful pillars decorated with different kimono fabrics. This unique display is a must-see attraction in Arashiyama.
- Arashiyama - Quick lunch break
- Togetsukyo Bridge - Togetsukyo Bridge: After visiting the Kimono Forest, we will go to the Togetsukyo Bridge, one of Arashiyama’s most popular attractions. This bridge offers breathtaking views of the Hozu River and the surrounding mountains.
- Monkey Park Iwatayama - Arashiyama Monkey Park: From the bridge, we will hike to the Arashiyama Monkey Park, which is located on a mountain overlooking Arashiyama. Here, you can interact with the Japanese monkeys and enjoy panoramic views of the city.

Splendide family trip ! - Our day trip with Aaron was splendid. Patient, interesting, funny… My family and I will remember our sightseeing in Kyoto with the monkeys and the bamboo forest.

Excellent tour , there are however more tourists than the locals. - Very crowded. Looks like tourists have invaded Kyoto. Check the weather before you plan to go. The guide Aaron is excellent.

Bamboo Forest and Monkey Park Visit - Aron was a great guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Aron. He communicated well, with meeting point and with information of what the tour was about. He also gave clear instructions on where to meet, that was easily understood by us, considering we have a habit of not navigating well. Aron gave us enough time to take photos, as well as suggested areas to buy food or get extra water. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience of the temple, the bamboo forest, shopping and tasting the pecan chocolates. We all made a purchase of the treats. The kimono station, the Temryu-ji Temple Sogenchi Teien, the Togetsukyo Bridge and the Monkey Park were great highlights. A great tour and great pleasant guide.
