- Saga-Arashiyama Station - We’ll meet up at Saga-Arashiyama Station at 7:30 PM, right outside the ticket gates. You won’t have to go down any stairs to find us. From there, we’ll swing by a convenience store to grab some drinks. Then we’ll take a walk towards the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. But keep in mind, the bamboo forest will be pitch dark at this time of night, making for a unique and scary experience.

A fun adventure! - We had so much fun and a small adventure walking through Arashiyama on this ghost tour. The kimono forest was beautiful to see at night, it's a lovely first stop. Walking through the bamboo at night while hearing ghosts stories certainly raises the heart rate---it's the only ghost tour I've ever been on that has done that! Definitely recommend!!

A fun (and spooky) insight into - The atmosphere was perfect for such ghost hunting activities. Whilst walking around all the hot spots for ghost sightings and stories there was a sense of eeriness the entire time. Our tour guide Aron made the experience all the more enjoyable with extensive backstories to each area. Would 100% recommend this tour.

Awesome ghost tour - My daughter and I went on the ghost tour in the bamboo forest and we had a wonderful time. Aron was our awesome guide . The stories and the dark forest really set the mood for a scary but fun evening. We truly enjoyed ourselves. I definitely recommend this tour.

Very spooky! - The place was spooky, even before Aron told us about the scary stories and ghost sightings! It's a very ominous place, and even saw locals trying their own ghost hunting.
Went on a very still night with a clear night's sky. Saw things moving on their own in the spot where murder victims were buried.

Spooky Kyoto - This is the highlight of our trip. We wouldn't go to this completely dark bamboo forest without a tour. The host is very caring. He gave us hand warmer at the beginning of the trip. I feel like knowing him for a long time rather than first time. We felt completely safe. Don't be scare, bring some sake with you. Highly recommend if you want something different.

Spooky bamboo forest fun - We took the ghost tour of the bamboo forest expecting a bit of fun during our visit to Kyoto. We did get that and a lot more. Aron was a very fun host offering stories and facts throughout the tour. Aron was also able to give us an insight from the locals about spirits that could be missed during the day. A must do tour for any fan of the unknown.

Great guide and fun time - The guide was so fun and nice, we absolutely loved our time with him. The tour itself was both fascinating and eerie. Your eyes have a tendency to keep seeing shadows and faces in the dark and I'll be honest, not sure if all of that was just my imagination. Great fun, would recommend it for anyone that loves the spooky side of things.
