- Kaya Kinondo Sacred Forest - Following the briefing, guests proceed to the forest for a guided walk. This includes a presentation on the forest’s flora and fauna, as well as local cultural and sacred activities. Unique trees with significant local importance and uses will be highlighted and explained in detail, offering a truly relaxing experience.
Visitors will learn about the ancient Digo settlement, the original home of the local community before they dispersed. The Main Shrine, accessible only to elders, will be discussed, although it cannot be visited by guests.
- Kaya Kinondo Sacred Forest - A brief transfer takes guests to a nearby village for approximately 60 minutes of cultural immersion. Here, they can engage with local life, explore traditional livelihoods, meet the village healer, and enjoy a Digo traditional dance performance (around 15 minutes). Guests will also have the opportunity to taste local African herbal tea made from lemongrass (around 15 minutes) and, if desired, sample freshly tapped palm wine (mnazi). The experience concludes in the village, allowing guests to depart at their leisure.
