Experience the stunning Hardangerfjord aboard a RIB boat, exploring the breathtaking fjord landscapes of Fyksesund on a private RIB safari. The journey ventures across the Hardangerfjord into Fyksesund, a captivating fjord arm located halfway along the Hardangerfjord. Fyksesund remains the only lateral fjord in Hardangerfjord with no access road leading to its inner reaches. The last half of the 10 km fjord is between soaring mountain slopes, leading to the isolated old village of Botnen at the fjord’s end. During this high-energy RIB tour, a seasoned, local guide will pause multiple times so you can take in the unique fjord scenery, sharing fascinating information about the fjord and its former inhabitants. There are many stops close to the shore to observe the local habitat and life along the fjord. It’s advisable to keep a camera within easy reach.
