Located in Kuala Selangor, Malaysia, Firefly Park Resort Bukit Belimbing is the only location in this region where you can observe clusters of fireflies glowing in unison, a phenomenon often dubbed the “Eighth Wonder of the World”. It is regarded as one of the mandatory places to visit in Malaysia.
You’ll embark on a boat trip along the Selangor River, where the fireflies reside on the branches of the “Berembang” trees along the riverbank. Here, up to thousands of fireflies may congregate on a single tree, starting to light up about an hour after sundown. A dazzling light show endures for roughly two to three hours, dimming gradually until sunrise.

Great fun - We had a very nice driver who explained the tour to us and had our tickets. The kids loved feeding the silver monkeys and we enjoyed the firefly tour.

Tour with jay - Jay will try to please you as much as possible. He takes you to different places as long as time allows it. So make sure to follow his suggested instructions.

Excellent time - I had a great experience with the Tavelvago company doing two tours with them, my guide and driver Ayyanar was very patient, friendly and respectful, he explained very well about each place.

Interesting experience with monkeys and pretty fireflies! The tour guide Jay was awesome - We loved the tour with our guide Jay. He was very fluent in English which can’t be taken for granted—we appreciated not having a language barrier with our guide.
The fireflies were great and we got to interact with the monkeys. Both were unforgettable.
Since it’s a private tour your guide matters a lot and Jay was witty yet professional. I would go on a trip with him again. If you can choose your guide then he’s the one to go with. I haven’t had that much luck with guided tours in SEA but this was definitely different thanks to him.
