The UR-MU, otherwise known as The Urban Museum, is a unique, offbeat modern art gallery in Kuala Lumpur. It displays a private assortment of artistic pieces and assorted items from a benefactor of the arts, reflecting the hopes and atmosphere of the city. Situated in the affluent area known as the Golden Triangle, it is widely considered a must-see destination in KL.

Ur-Mu is located at 3, Jalan Bedara, Bukit Bintang Kuala Lumpur. Look for a tall building cladded with glass. Its best to get to Ur-Mu via public transports (MRT Bukit Bintang, Exit F) or E-Hailing as there is limited parking available around the vicinity.

Artistically beautiful - Funny small museum but with a lot to see. Talented artists on display. 5 floors high, with a front and back room and the stairs/elevator in the middle. Everything has been thought of, even a water tap!

Favourite gallery in KL - Throughly enjoyed spending an hour amongst this wonderful collect of art works. They have been brilliantly curated to represent different eras/aspects of Malay culture. Spread over 5 floors in a really interesting part of KL the exhibition is just the right size, plenty to view but not so many that your attention wanders.

Ur mu was fantastic - Loved every second… took some time to browse the books to read up on the diff projects. Very interesting! Place is so serene and quiet. So calm and just amazing pieces. My second time and felt like my first! Love it

Wonderful art experience - Ur-mu, urban museum at kl is one-of-a-kind quirky art museum that definitely worth a visit. Love the architecture and art in this contemporary art museum. Nearby MRT and monorail, easily accessible by public transport. 5-level of art gallery: Sens-Asia, People; Kampung Kita, Power play; Raksasa (Monster), Superheroes; Framing Modernity, Structure; Made’s Garden, Sculpture Lounge. Superb artwork!

Very nice exhibition!!! - Very nice exhibition with many interesting pictures, art pieces and objects. Not far from MRT and entrance only 10 MYR. It would be a nice place to spend time. Thank you :)

Urban Museum - Ur Mu is a n art museum tucked in between rolls of old flats in the heart of the city, in fact next to Bukit Bintang.
We were warmly welcomed by Munirah, the caretaker, at Ur Mu. Munirah guided us through six floors showcasing the owner's diverse collections. The curator's creative touch and profound understanding of the country's lifestyle, culture, and history were evident. The museum offers enlightening pieces by local artists, making it a worthwhile morning exploration.

A well spent morning with friends - What an awesome experience! Very interesting! Munirah did a fantastic job telling us very interesting stories. Great place for family (with kids) visits too. The space is brightly lit and comfortable. Will certainly recommend to family n friends.
