Best Private Authentic Cooking Class in Kuala Lumpur - Fizah and Roman are a lovely couple! The cooking class is done in their lovely home with their 3 cats (Toby, Hobo and Milly) and son. Felt welcomed in their home to the point that we had forgotten that we even paid for the experience as we felt treated like a long time friend! We had made Nasi Lemak from Fizah's family recipe with the best ever Sambal you can ever taste. They are able to accommodate with other dietary requirements if informed in advance such as for vegetarians, vegans and gluten free! Everything is laid out for you and assisted in making the recipe and Fizah also sends out the recipe after the class in order to recreate it at your own home to share this lovely dish with friends and family. A wonderful experience that I could not recommend enough for small groups!

Learn about Malaysian cooking and experience the every day life of the KL locals - The cooking class enables you to not only learn the way to create delicious Malaysian dishes but also allows you to experience every day Malaysian life. Fizah welcomes you to her home and extends Malaysian hospitality. We spent our time together discussing all sorts of topics as we prepared our lunch. Fizah communicated with me before the class and proposed a list of several options for dishes and allowed me to choose the two I was most interested in. We also went to the market together before we started cooking and I had another glimpse into Malaysian life. Fizah is an excellent teacher and hostess and I really enjoyed our time together.

Wonderful Malaysia Cooking Class - We highly recommend this Malaysia cooking class. Fizah our host was warm and welcoming. She gave us many options to choose from. Generous amount of food was prepared. It was interesting to make the chili paste from fresh ingredients rather than the bottle!! Luckily, we also got to meet her husband too which made a very enjoyable afternoon. Also, I need to mention her kitchen was spotless! Highly recommend.

Best cooking class experience ever! - More than just a cooking class, was a very quality time spent with the amazing Fizah, so kind, warm and friendly, it felt like cooking with a friend that I know for many years at her beautiful home. Her passion for food and sharing with people it is contagious. She explained everything perfectly, and even though I'm not the most experienced cook, I never felt lost. We made an amazing Curry Laksa, vegetarian adjusted, generously spicy, but not too too much and the incredible desert Kuih Ketayap! By the end, we enjoyed the delicious meal we prepare together sharing nice experiences and stories. Was a lovely experience that I highly recommend to all. Bonus of the class: the cats 😊

Not to be missed - a gem of an experience - The most fun activity we did on our trip to KL. Fizah welcomed us and made time for us, in spite of an initial scheduling problem. Her laid back friendly and relaxed style was combined with excellent guidance on Malaysian cuisine, so we were able to conjure the most amazing and delicious curry laksa and mango sticky rice. All fresh and fragrant ingredients. We also got to meet Roman and so enjoyed hearing about their passions for Malaysia’s environment, their walking and cycling treks, their fundraising for children with cancer. After eating and talking together, we left and later binge-watched Fizah and Roman’s fun YouTube videos on cooking and travelling. All part of a very special Malaysian experience.
