To begin with, this tour is self-guided. Sirince Village, a charming old Greek Orthodox village located 12 km from Ephesus, was once known as Cirkince (Ugly). The residents intentionally chose this name to deter outsiders and keep the village’s beauty to themselves. However, over time, visitors realized the village was far from ugly and renamed it Sirince (Pretty). Situated atop a mountain, the village offers breathtaking views of vineyards and peach trees along the way.
