• Ancient City of Ephesus - The Ephesus Ruins represent Turkey’s largest open-air museum, dating back to the Greek and Roman periods. Within the Ephesus Ruins, visitors can explore the Senate Building, Ancient Hospital, Domitian Temple, Nike Statue, Hercules Gate, Trajan Fountain, Hadrian Temple, Celsus Library, Grand Theatre of Ephesus, and much more.
• Ephesus Terrace Houses - The Terrace Houses complex in Ephesus features luxurious residential villas, situated on the northern slope of Bülbüldağı Hill, adjacent to Curetes Street and opposite the Temple of Hadrian. To date, two housing complexes - Eastern and Western - have been excavated. They were constructed following the Hippodamian plan, where roads intersect at right angles. Excavation of the Terrace Houses began in 1960. The restoration of these houses is ongoing, with new discoveries to admire each year.
• The Basilica of Saint John - In the early A.D., Evangelist St. John resided in Ephesus to spread Christianity and gather more followers of Jesus. According to various sources, he passed away near Ephesus after returning from exile in Patmos. He was buried on the southern slope of Ayosolug Hill by his disciples. Roman Emperor Justinian built one of Christianity’s largest Basilicas in the 4th Century A.D. over the burial site of St. John the Evangelist.
• The Temple of Artemis - The Temple of Artemis, also known as Artemesium, was one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The grand temple was constructed by Croesus, king of Lydia, around 550 BCE and was rebuilt after being destroyed by a man named Herostratus in 356 BCE. The Artemesium was renowned not only for its immense size, over 350 by 180 feet (approximately 110 by 55 meters), but also for the exquisite works of art that adorned it.
• Kusadasi - The tour will drive through Kusadasi Town, offering a panoramic view while guests listen to key information from our Local Tour Guide.
• Kusadasi Shopping Center - Guests can explore local handicrafts and enjoy local shopping if desired. The Local Tour Guide will provide information on the best traditional handicrafts, recommended places to visit, things to be cautious about, and tips for a hassle-free experience.
• Kusadasi Castle - Also known as Pigeon Island! It is one of the earliest settlements of modern Kusadasi. The tour will pass by, offering a distant view. It is located very close to the Port, allowing time for a visit after the tour if interested.
• Kusadasi - At the conclusion of the tour, guests will return to the Cruise Port according to their ONBOARD TIME!
