• Kuşadası Port Türkiye - The tour guide will greet guests at Kusadasi Port or the lobby of designated hotels with a name sign at a pre-arranged time. The pick-up time will be provided upon confirmation. Typically, pick-up from Kusadasi Cruise Terminal is scheduled 30 to 45 minutes after the cruise’s arrival.
• Meryemana (The Virgin Mary’s House) - The first stop is the House of Virgin Mary, situated on the Aladag Mountains, 5 miles from Ephesus. During the third Ecumenical Council in 431 AD in Ephesus, it was claimed that Mary arrived in Ephesus with St. John in 37 A.D. and lived there until her passing in 48 A.D. After the house’s discovery, the Archbishop of Izmir declared it a pilgrimage site in 1892. On July 26, 1967, Pope Paul VI visited and prayed there.
• Ancient City of Ephesus - The second stop is the Ephesus Ancient City, a major highlight in Turkey. Ephesus, one of the 12 cities of the Ionian League (an ancient Greek district on Asia Minor’s western coast), is near Izmir. As a port city, it was a key departure point for trade routes into Asia Minor.

Stroll through history along marble streets lined with magnificent public buildings, including the Baths of Scholastica and the Library of Celsus, built in the early 2nd century A.D. by Gaius Julius Aquila as a tribute to his father, Gaius Julius Celsus Polemanus, the proconsul of the Province of Asia. The Temple of Hadrian and The Grand Theater are two of Ephesus’s most impressive structures. The Grand Theater, constructed in the 3rd century B.C., was later expanded by the Romans in the 1st century A.D. to accommodate 24,000 spectators.

• Ephesus Terrace Houses - Terrace Houses are included in two options (Private with Terrace Houses and Small group with Terrace Houses) only. They are not included in the other two options without Terrace Houses.

Terrace Houses are located on the slopes of Pion Mountain, consisting of six residential units built on three man-made terraces. These homes were occupied by Ephesus’s wealthy citizens and were lavishly decorated with wall frescoes and floor mosaics. There are numerous steps to climb from bottom to top. Note: Not recommended for individuals with walking difficulties or acrophobia (fear of heights).

• The Temple of Artemis - The final stop is The Temple of Artemis, once one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, before returning to Kusadasi town center and port.

• Kusadasi Gazi Begendi Park - Travel to Kusadasi Port and Kusadasi town center through Gazi Beğendi Park.

• Kuşadası Port Türkiye - Arrival at Kusadasi Port marks the end of the services.
