Atatürk Airport - Welcome to Turkey! Upon arrival at Istanbul Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW), a representative will greet you with a sign displaying your name and provide a private transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay in Istanbul.

Full Day Guided Istanbul Tour (Breakfast)

Blue Mosque - At 9:00 a.m., after breakfast, the guided tour begins with a visit to the Blue Mosque, renowned for its stunning blue Iznik tiles.

Hippodrome - The next stop is Hippodrome Square, historically used for chariot races and Byzantine riots during the Roman and Byzantine periods.

Topkapi Palace - The tour continues with a walk to Topkapi Palace, which served as the residence of Ottoman sultans and the administrative and educational center of the state. Constructed between 1460 and 1478 by Sultan Mehmed II, the conqueror of Constantinople, the visit includes the weapons section.

Hagia Sophia Mosque - A short walk leads to Hagia Sophia, built in 532 AD by Roman Emperor Justinian I.

Update for St. Sophia interior visit:
Live guiding is not permitted in St. Sophia after January 15, 2024. Guests should bring smartphones and headphones for their visit. Headphones can be purchased at the entrance for 3.5 USD if needed. The system is similar to an audio guide. Guests without smartphones can follow signs and information provided on-site.

Kapali Carsi - The final stop is the Grand Bazaar, one of the largest and oldest covered markets globally, featuring over 58 covered streets and more than 1,200 shops, attracting 250,000 to 400,000 visitors daily. Opened in 1461, it is famous for its jewelry, pottery, spices, and carpets.

Return to the hotel.

Cappadocia by Flight – Cappadocia Tour - Cave Hotel (Breakfast)

Kayseri Erkilet Airport - Early morning pickup from the Istanbul hotel and transfer to the airport for a flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival, the tour guide will meet you at the airport to begin the Cappadocia tour.

Fairy Chimneys - Travel to Cappadocia and visit the Three Sisters Fairy Chimneys in Urgup, a popular site often featured in advertisements. Pigeon houses are carved into the rocks, resembling human dwellings.

Ozkonak Underground City - The next stop is Ozkonak Underground City, featuring volcanic granite strata connected by tunnels and a unique pipe communication system. Each room has ventilation provided by additional piping, used during sieges. After the tour, transfer to your hotel.

Full Day Tour of Cappadocia - Cave Hotel (Breakfast)

Pasabag - In the morning, explore the lunar landscape of Cappadocia with rock formations in Devrent Valley. Visit Pasabag “fairy chimneys,” where the wind’s sound mingles with “fairy songs” near Zelve.

Avanos Oren Yeri - Avanos, a center for terra cotta art since 3000 BC, includes a demonstration at a traditional pottery workshop.

Goreme Open-Air Museum - In the afternoon, visit the Goreme Open Air Museum to see the finest examples of Byzantine art in rock-cut churches with frescoes and paintings from the 10th to 13th centuries.

Uchisar Castle - Continue to Uchisar Rock-Castle for a panoramic view of Cappadocia’s valleys. After the tour, transfer to your hotel.

Cappadocia – Konya – Pamukkale (Breakfast – Dinner)

Sultanhani Kervansarayi - Depart early for Pamukkale, stopping at the 13th-century Seljukian masterpiece, Sultanhan Caravanserai.

Mevlana Muzesi - Upon arrival in Konya, visit the Mausoleum of Mevlana, a globally renowned mystic, before driving to Pamukkale.

Pamukkale - Upon arrival in Pamukkale, check into your thermal hotel for an overnight stay. Enjoy swimming in thermal pools until 10:30 p.m.

Pamukkale (Hierapolis) – Kusadasi (Breakfast – Dinner)

Hierapolis & Pamukkale - Explore the ancient city of Hierapolis, including the Theatre, Apollo Temple, and Necropolis. Visit the travertine terraces at Pamukkale, a breathtaking natural wonder resembling snow or cotton balls, giving it the Turkish name Pamukkale (cotton castle). Drive to Kusadasi for an overnight stay.

Kusadasi - Ephesus - The House of Virgin Mary - Artemis Temple and Flight to Istanbul

Meryemana (The Virgin Mary’s House) - After breakfast, drive to The House of Virgin Mary, located on the Aladag Mountains, 5 miles from Ephesus. The third Ecumenical Council of 431 in Ephesus claimed Mary lived here with St. John from 37 A.D. until her death in 48 A.D. Declared a pilgrimage site in 1892, it was visited by Pope Paul VI on July 26, 1967.

Ancient City of Ephesus - Continue to Ephesus, walking through marble streets lined with historic public buildings, including The State Agora, Odeon, Memnius Monument, Temple of Domitian, Polio Fountain, Curetes Street, Trajan Fountain, Baths of Scholastica, Hadrian Temple, Latrina, Celcus Library, Mihridates and Mazues Gate, Commercial Agora, and The Grand Theater, which was expanded by the Romans to seat 24,000 spectators.

The Temple of Artemis - The final stop is the Artemis Temple, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

After the Ephesus tour, drive to Izmir airport for the flight back to Istanbul. Upon arrival, a representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel for an overnight stay.

On Tuesdays : Topkapi Palace replaced by Underground Cistern, On Sundays: Grand Bazaar will be replaced by Spice Market. Grand Bazaar on religious holidays will be replaced by Arasta Bazaar.
