One of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World!! - Tezcan was our guide for the exploration of Ephesus, including the Terrace Houses. Tez was an amazing fountain of knowledge about the incredible site and our small group of 10 like-minded visitors could not have had a better guide. He was organized, kept everyone on track and everyone in our group was truly impressed with Tez as a guide. Well done! Amazing trip through ancient times!

Thank you Ceyla for a wonderful experience in Kusadasi. - Ceyla was a knowledgeable archaeologist. She was patient with our private group and honored all our wishes with a truly custom tour. She tailored our day so that she met the needs of all. We asked for an earlier port return with no sales stops and she returned us with time for a nice lunch and strolling in Kusadasi.

Ephesus private tour - Our friend found your tour company on line. We took a chance it would be good. It was great! Our guide was most knowledgeable. She explained everything and more in English for us. She took her time with us to take photos and just to stand and look at what we were experiencing. Great job and good company for the price for four of us on a private tour. Thank you.

Excellent private tour for a group tour price - Pinar met us promptly as arranged with a comfortable car and driver. Her introduction to the site of Ephesus was comprehensive and extremely interesting - we had plenty of time to wander ourselves as well as with her. Do not miss the Terrace Houses - fascinating…. There are the usual offers of visits to carpet/pottery/leather shops - these are not obligatory so don’t be afraid to say you just want to return to the port. We didn’t have pay till the end of the tour and then asked to be dropped off along the promenade so we could enjoy a walk back through the town to the ship. Excellent value for a Private tour!

Excellent all around! - We had limited time and were worried about making it back to the ship on time. We almost decided to just stay on the ship and skip any excursion. So glad we did this though! We were picked up at the port on time. Our guide was very. knowledgeable and pleasant. Well paced tour, comfortable mini bus, with only one other couple. Ephesus and the terrace houses are a must -see! Amazing to see the sights and learn the history! This half day tour worked out perfectly. We easily got back on time. Highly recommend!

brilliant service and great guild Sinan. - The trip was absolutely brilliant and our guild Sinan was excellent, explaining in full details all the ins and outs of the ancient city, As we were picked up at the port early and had private transport we were at the site before most cruise tour coaches turned up so we got to see it and have it explained to us clearly and without any interruptions.

Ephesus Tour from cruise port Kudashi - This mini group tour with Ephesus Shuttle was one of the highlights of our trip to Turkey. Mr. Ozgur Oran was very informative of the history around Kudashi and especially in the Ephesus mini group tour. The only issue was we did not get to do the Terrace houses because we did not specify at the first of the tour that we wanted to see the terrace houses, so if you go on this Mini group tour with option of Terrace houses, make sure you tell them upfront when you get on the bus that you want to do the terrace houses. Would most definitely do this tour again with Ephesus Shuttle if I ever am able to go back to Kudashi Turkey . I will say that booking this trip was very easy and everyone was very helpful and acomadating to our questions and concerns. We had no issues getting to and finding our bus for the tour. Ozzie and his bus drivers were very Friendly and Welcoming. I would not hesitate to contact Curio Travel/Ephesus Shuttle and book any tour they offer.

Adequate Tour of Ephesus - This small group (10 person) tour of Ephesus was adequate. I had been to the site before, so I was curious to see how this tour would compare. Pick-up at the cruise port was easy. We had no problem finding our guide and following him to our vehicle for the day. Both the guide and the driver were very pleasant, and the vehicle was safe, clean, and comfortable. Most of my quibbles with the tour come from having previously been to the site and knowing just enough to know when some of the things that the guide shared were incorrect (i.e. falsely claiming that the Greek alphabet used on some visible inscriptions was a different alphabet than modern Greek. There are certainly changes to the language overall, but the alphabet is not one of them.) I was also a bit miffed that the guide chose to take us through a grassy area of broken remains in order to show us a tree there rather than taking us by the Odeon and Prytaneon (both much more impressive parts of the site). Again, had I not been to the site before, I probably would not have noticed. Perhaps my biggest frustration, though, was watching the guide physically pick up the remains of one of the terra cotta pipes. Encouraging that kind of flippant handling of ancient artifacts horrified me. Since other members of the tour seemed to really enjoy the tour, I think it was likely an adequate experience. If I didn't know any better, I probably would have given it a 5-star rating myself. Those who have more advanced knowledge or previous experience with the site, though, might want to explore some other options.
