Don’t skip Siem Reap when visiting Siem Reap!! - What an amazing day in Siem Reap!! Our guide Nak was already waiting for us when we stepped off the elevator 10 minutes before the start of the tour. We were thrilled with the itinerary which combined both current and historical elements of Siem Reap. We thoroughly enjoyed our market tour!! I would have been quite intimidated to go into the kaleidoscope of sights, sounds and smells of the market without Nak leading the way. He showed us exotic spices, jewelry, fruits and fishes that were very different from what we have at home and helped guide us through purchasing some reasonably priced snacks and nice souvenirs. We visited a beautiful Buddhist monastery where our guide, who happened to be a former monk, gave us a basic introduction to the life of Buddha. Suddenly many of the things we had seen at Angkor Wat and the other temples made much more sense! We enjoyed seeing the Royal residence and surrounding park with stunning bronze statues and its own colony of bats!! We also got to see a partially restored 10th century temple that would be the historical crown jewel of a city that wasn’t named Siem Reap. Our last stop was the APOPO Hero Rat Center, which cannot be missed! We were awed by the work being done by their teams, which combine humans, animals and technology to fix some of the horrors of war that still haunt our planet. I would never have imagined my wife cradling a rat with a look on her face that combined love and admiration, but now I have that photo. Making a donation to the center was an honor after seeing the work they are doing. After the center, my wife mentioned lunch and Nak extended our tour to find us a cozy local restaurant for a relaxing lunch. We picked the tour largely based on the excellent itinerary but at the end of the day the highlight was spending the day with a kind, proud father of two who was so happy to share information with us about his life, his family, his city, his country and his religion.

Book to get a good start in SR - Guide was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of information about the locations we visited. He and the driver were very kind and really helped me have a wonderful experience seeing the best of Siem Reap on my first day here. The locations were a good variation of tempels, rat mine detection training centre and Handicraft. I recommend this tour if you just landed in SR.

Excellent Guide - Our guide, Nak Chum, was amazing. He took us to many interesting locations and explained the history and culture of the area so well. His local knowledge was outstanding. The visit to the monastery was wonderful, Nak told us the story of Buddha in an interesting and engaging way. The day finished with a visit to the Apopo Centre to meet the HeroRats of Cambodia. An experience not to be missed.

Enjoyable walk around Siem Reap - My wife and I really enjoyed our tour with our private guide Tom. He took us to a number of temples and described the history quite well. We ended the tour walking by some nice historic hotels, a market, restaurants, including some high end ones, and finally walked by the Pub Street. A full 3 hours of fun around Siem Reap with Tom!

Fantastic - I did my tour with Don. I was late getting to Siem Reap but both the tour company and Don were brilliant and very patient in accommodating the changes. First stop was Appopo landmine centre - a MUST for anyone visiting as it shows how African rats are trained to seek out landmines. We then toured some beautiful temples, night market and the made in Cambodia market. We also stopped to see the bats near the royal palace. Don was very knowledgeable and answered all my daft questions! He has a great sense of pride in the city and all that it has to offer which is fantastic. I had done some prior research so he added some of my choices into the tour which was great. We had a lovely tuk tuck driver who drove us around and waited at each stop. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough.

Private 3 day tour - Angkor Wat and major temples, floating village and Kulen Mountain Park - We were a party of 11, with 3 children aged 9-11 years. It was and excellent tour with a brilliant and very knowledgeable local guide. We were also able to adapt the tour to our needs when the younger children were not keen to visit as many temples. Payment was easy and they were very accommodating when I had issues with bank transfer. We really enjoyed the visit and would happily use them again for our future visit. 😊😊

Hidden Gems with Jack - Jack was an incredible tour guide who introduced us to the city of Siem Reap and exposed us to its history, stories, and people. Jack answered any question we had and went into great detail. He shared his knowledge of Cambodian history, its culture, animals, food and much more. He’s very sweet and recommended us great activity options that were spot on. He also is a great photographer and knows all the places to go. Next time I am back in Cambodia, I will definitely be using Jack as a tour guide again and we highly recommend anyone books with him as well.
