- Kompong Khleang - Kompong Khleang is one of the floating villages on Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. During the dry season, the lake covers an area of 2,700 km². In the rainy season, its size increases to three times that of the dry season. The lake is home to over 200 species of fish. It has a unique connection with the Mekong River, acting as a reservoir to store water from the river during the rainy season. The lake is surrounded by five provinces: Siem Reap, Battambang, Pusat, Kompong Chhnang, and Kompong Thom. These provinces have excellent potential for rice cultivation due to the lake’s water supply. During the rainy season, it is possible to travel by boat to the capital city, Phnom Penh.

Kompong kleang floating village for my first guests - It is my first time to go there with my guests. My guests they are very happy with natural living there. Real life for fishing. We can see many house with high pillars.

Great day out on Tonle Sap lake - Superb trip, Ra our tour guide and his friend (our driver) were fabulous. Would highly recommend anyone using Ra for any trips whilst in Siem Reap. He is happy to personalise any trip for you. Ra's English was fantastic and we had a great day. Ra was happy to recommend restaurants and places to get a great massage to if you are interested.

Superb morning visiting the Tonle Sap Lake and floating village. - Fantastic morning spent visiting the Kompong Kleang floating village on the Tonle Sap Lake. Excellent service provided by Ra and his friend our driver. Spoke fluent English and made the trip extremely enjoyable as well as very interesting. Tailored the trip yo our requirements, all in all a superb service and trip.

Great experience! - Great day with Ra! The floating village is really a thing to see in his life! Very good experience! Excellent driver very friendly, he explained us a lot in perfect English. It is perfectly adapted to all our little desires! I highly recommend!

Smooth Operator! - Ra is a fantastic tour guide. His English is very good and fluent. Touring with him is a history lesson in itself. He has vast knowledge of not only the Temples, but Siem Reap and surrounding areas. The beauty of touring with him is the hidden gems, where locals hang out, he will take you to. The van is large, clean and I always feel safe! The Floating Hut Restaurant is so relaxing after a visit to Kulen Mountain so, make sure to stop! Speaking of stopping, when or if you see something of interest, he will pull over so you can shop, taste local street food and find new off the beaten track delights.

great afternoon with Ra / amazing afternoon with Ra - I have been living in SIem-Reap for a few months and despite the possibility of doing things by myself I love to call on Ra's services. More than just a guide, Ra listens to our desires and expectations. He knows how to adapt to our demands. It is full of resources and will turn a simple visit into a real authentic moment.
