As a retired teacher with a penchant for road trips and a heart full of nostalgia for the open roads of America, I found myself yearning for a new adventure. This time, my journey took me far from the familiar highways of the Midwest to the enchanting landscapes of Cambodia. My husband and I decided to embark on the Cambodia Highlights tour, an 11-day cultural journey that promised to immerse us in the rich tapestry of Cambodian history and culture.

Upon our arrival in Siem Reap, we were greeted by the warm smile of our tour guide, Mr. Hok. His passion for his country was evident from the moment we met him.
