It’s a common sight to witness oxen pulling carts laden with rice down the province’s rustic dirt roads. Upon arrival, take a scenic drive to the renowned destination known as ‘Phnom Banon,’ followed by a city tour. The following day offers an opportunity to ride the bamboo train, a simple yet effective mode of transport used by locals to move goods and people. This rudimentary train consists of a platform set on four wheels, powered by a small engine, and it makes an 8km journey through stunning scenery and rice fields to reach the subsequent station.
