- Boka Waterfall - Boka is a karst water source, a waterfall, and a rapid mountain stream, feeding into the Soča River. Standing at 106 meters high and 18 meters wide, it is the most spectacular waterfall in Slovenia and Europe. Including the 33-meter high cascade below, it is likely the tallest waterfall in Slovenia, reaching 139 meters.

Alternatively, one can opt to relax and visit an additional nearby waterfall with a guide.
- Kozjak Waterfalls - Napoleon’s Bridge, a stone bridge over the narrow canyon of the Nadiža River, was built around 1812 and highlights the historical significance of this transit area since Roman times. The ancient trail from Pradola and Robidišče to Nadiža crosses this bridge. Kozjak Waterfall, one of the most beautiful in Triglav National Park, has carved a dark chamber, now a pool of blue-green water due to the collapsed ceiling.
- Lake Bohinj - Covering 3.19 km², Lake Bohinj is the largest permanent natural lake in Slovenia. Nestled in the Julian Alps at 526 meters above sea level, between Pršivec to the north and Vogel to the south, it is one of the most picturesque lakes in Triglav National Park and the final guided stop on the Emerald River Tour.

Amazing Slovenia!! - I was a bit skeptical initially as there were no recent reviews for this Mamut tour. But despite having a car- we decided to book this tour so the driver could enjoy his day also.
IT WAS AMAZING. Do not hesitate to book this.
We had a group of 8 adults (ranging from 19-53) so we had the entire shuttle bus to ourselves. They picked us up at our AirBnb and we spent 14 hours together. We added in the additional ziplining-WOW. 5 lines and it was spectacular.
It was a wonderful and stress free way to experience this entire area in a short time without worrying about parking/organizing the map details etc.
The "car trail" was very cool. We swam in the Soce river despite the freezing temperatures, we enjoyed all the views.... the guide was soft spoken , easily approachable and very knowledgable about the area.
He brought us to a local bakery for a mid-morning snack and a wonderful spot for lunch after zip- lining.
I booked directly with Mamut and they required a deposit in advance.

Emerald River tour was worth it even in the rain - I did the Emerald River tour in August when Bled and the surrounding was surprised by heavy rain and floods. Even though the weather was far from ideal I had a fantastic time and saw places and waterfalls I otherwise would not have seen. The tour guide was very friendly and really did his best to make the best out of the tour. Some parts of the tour needed to be cancelled or changed due to the weather but the tour guide did his best to find solutions. I do think it is a shame that I was not able to hike more or see more of the originally planned tour, however, I fully understand that due the the weather conditions and floods this was not possible. However, I still had a fantastic day and thought it was worth it. I could not imagine a better way of spending a day during this heavy weather. Therefore I would really recommend others to book this tour, I think the tour was amazing and I truly believe that the tour will be fantastic in normal weather conditions.

A Great trip from Amazing Jasna Lake to sunsetting Bohinj Lake - It was a really fun day in the great nature! I was a solo traveller who attended this tour with three other parties. All of the participants were very nice people and I really enjoyed it. Moreover, our guide Sam was very knowledgeable and told us many great stories of the area. It was a really great learning opportunity of the history and nature of the area. We covered a lot in one day. Starting from the amazing Jasna Lake to the car train ride to the sunsetting Bohinj Lake...... Car train was really fun, as I have never experienced such a train ride before. I love to visit the national park again with Sam's guide!

Beautiful day in nature - The Emerald River tour was amazing! We had a perfect day. The tour guide was super friendly, knowledgable, and took care of all of us. It was a beautiful day with a good mix of amazing rivers, canyons, waterfall, high mountains, a unique car train drive and a glourious sunset over Bohinj lake.

Amazing! - We did the “Emerald River Tour” and it was amazing! What made it even better was our tour guide Sam, he made us all feel very comfortable and reassured us in every step. He made it all so enjoyable and great fun so a big shoutout to him. Definitely would recommend this tour!

Excellent trip and a fab day out - We really enjoyed our day trip. It was good to see a range of places that we wouldn’t have been able to see otherwise. For us the highlight was the car-train through the mountains, as well as jumping in the Soca river (it was very cold!) and climbing to the source of the river too. We wouldn’t have been able to see the sites outside of Bled without this trip. Our guide was fantastic too. Would absolutely recommend - there’s a lot of miles covered but a lot of stops along the way!

How to fall in love with Triglav National Park in one day - What a day! My partner (rather an adrenaline junkie) and me (more of a scaredy-cat) joined Mamut’s Emerald River Tour to both explore the beauty of Triglav National Park and learn more about Slovenian culture and history. And oh boy, we got what we asked for.
Our guide Karin, who herself was born and raised in this region, did an excellent job and showed us a range of remarkable places along the tour. With her good humour, calm and positive attitude and insightful comments on all the different spots we passed, the 8 hours really flew by. You could tell that preserving this extraordinary landscape is very dear to Karin’s heart and her passion for nature was truly contagious. The whole trip was well organised and included highlights such as a short hike to a waterfall, traditional villages, the Soča river and a short hike (including a ferrata, so do bring proper hiking shoes) to its source, the Trenta valley, a ride up to a mountain pass and a view of several famous mountains. Given that we travel without a car and the limited availability and flexibility of public transport, we would have never been able to explore so much of the National Park in such short time.
We also chose to try out the optional rafting on the Soča river. The conditions were quite easy due to the time of the year according to our experienced guide Carolina, which for me was great to get a first impression of the sport. However, the guides ensured that more adventurous people got to experience some extra fun (boat slides on penguin rocks) and challenging (jump from a high boulder into the river) moments. This truly was a thrill and we would definitely recommend to add rafting to this amazing tour.

Great way to see Triglav NP without a car! - Karin was a wonderful guide to us throughout the day, giving us time at stops to see and enjoy the beauty of Triglav national park and the Soça valley. We learnt a lot about the area and its history, the mountains, and had a great balance of active walking stops and photo stops.
As a backpacker without a car, this was a great way to see the beautiful Julian Alps, including areas inaccessible by bus and public transport.

Should have been cancelled - As the weather had been bad and very rainy with weather warnings, we contacted Mamut the day before to check that it was still going ahead. We had booked white water rafting in Bovec. We were surprised that they said yes as we knew the railway tunnel was flooded.
Our guide collected us, we drove to lake Bohinj in the rain and then he filled time by driving around and got to the railway station. When we were having a coffee he said the tunnel was flooded and we could go.
The only option he gave us was to try to continue on the tour and make good what he could.
There was only 4 of us on the tour and we didn’t know any different. This was around 0915. He didn’t check with the rafting company until 12.00, he didn’t even have their number, then we found out that the rafting cancelled as it was too dangerous. That came as no shock with the amount of rain and the floods in the area.
We got to Bovec ar around 2.00pm, no choice was given for where to have lunch, how much time we had there. I think he went where he got a free meal.
All we did was drive around in the rain and go to a few waterfalls. He seemed amazed that there was so much water in them. Of course there was, there had been 1 months rain in 1 day.
When we got back to the Mamut office and got our refund for the rafting, I told the guy in the office that the tour really should have been cancelled because of the conditions and the tunnel had been flooded since the day before, the guide attacked us said he gave us the option in the morning to come straight back to Bled and get a full refund on the tour. He NEVER gave that option, as we would have taken that and tried to do the tour another day. Im quite sure the other 2 ladies on the tour would have taken that option too.
In all it was a miserable day.

Trip cancelled at the last minute - Our trip was cancelled the day before at 5:45 pm because we did not meet the minimum number of participants, leaving us with no time to possibly plan for another trip or contact other companies. Moreover, [1] the website did not mention the requirement of a minimum number and [2] we confirmed the trip 2 days before the scheduled day in person and were not informed of a risk of cancellation.
It was surprising to know of internal regulations that are hidden to customers (while booking) and can jeopardise their plans
