A Great Morning in Bonaire - Excellent snorkeling with easy access from the shady beach. Learning to fish was an adventure! Host was gracious answering numerous questions about Bonaire. He did a great job of grilling the fish in the beach. Thanks for a great morning In Bonaire.

A wonderful morning! - Our host was right on time to pick up my husband and I from the cruise ship. There was a second couple who joined us. It was a wonderful time visiting with the host and learning about Bonaire. The beach had shade and we relaxed in beach chairs. The snorkeling was great with clear water. Divers were nearby, so we were in a good spot. It was easy to walk from the beach into the water to snorkel. I loved learning to fish while snorkeling. While I didn’t catch a fish, our host did. I just need some more practice!) He grilled the fished and it was delicious. I’m so glad that I did this adventure. It was a great experience and a neat time learning to fish. I wouldn’t hesitate to do this activity again!

Fantastic Excursion - This was one of the highlights of our trip. The snorkeling was fantastic, and the fresh grilled fish was delicious. After a brief set of instructions, we were able to set out on our own and explore. They give you as much or as little help as you want, and for us it was perfect. There were 6 of us, and we ranged in age from 20 to 78.

Strongly recommended, you cannot miss this! - My guide Frans is a Dutchman who has just moved to the island for a few years, but his lifestyle is very traditional and sophisticated. He took me to beach with his family and friends. Frans prepared a fish tape and led me to snorkel fishing from the shallow sea to a lil deep section. There will be a detailed explanation before the start. The physical strength is medium-high, and it is very important that one is able to snorkel 30 meters above the sea without panic. We mainly caught grouper, which lasted for an hour and a half. Pots were ready on the shore, put onions and vegetables in the oil pan, and cleaned the fish with salt and marinated to deep-fry until the bones were crispy. Watching the children running around in the sunset, the fried fish in my hand was very delicious, and there was no fishy smell at all. It was a very happy sense of satisfaction in life, especially, it was the fish I caught by myself. After dinner, there were snacks and baked tortillas with hot cheese. And, there were pelicans flying on the sea, a mouthful of cold beer, everything was beautiful. When night fell and driving back home, I felt that such a life at the moment was a long-awaited shalem. This activity is strongly recommended. At present, only Frans on the island does this event, it is super unique and it is perfect for everything.

A beautiful memory made in Bonaire - This was incredible! We went as a family of 4; my mother (71); two boys (8) & (6) and myself (35). We brought our water shoes, towels and swimmies for the littlest. Frans picked us up at our Cruise port and took us to Donkey Beach where he had everything set up. chairs, cooler of water and Cola, BBQ set up and gear. Frans and his family were just lovely people. This was our first time snorkeling and we thoroughly enjoyed being amongst an aquarium just steps from shore! We saw TONS of beautiful fish! "Dory", angelfish, trumpet fish, butterfly fish, parrotfish, Graysby, (which we ate and was delicious!) and plenty more. The kids spent nearly the whole time snorkeling and my mother was just as happy sitting in the shade under a beautiful tree watching in awe her grandchildren snorkeling and as Frans and family seasoned the fish we caught and cooked it right on the beach. Thank you SO much for a beautiful memory and your sincere hospitality.

Worth it! - Great (personal) experience! You're both snorkeling and fishing, and it's quite a challenge, as well as fun! Afterwards you get to prepare and eat your own catch, which is quite interesting and nice as well. Grilled fish on a BBQ tasts really good!
