Chachacha Beach - We drive direction North, through the National Park towards the Northern tip of the island called Malmok, where the most productive fishing begins. We use quality gear (Shimano, Penn International), along with hand-made, unique local tools such as hand lines and down-riggers traditional to this region. Fishing begins as soon as we reach the old refinery, with four lines in the water. We troll along the way, targeting various pelagic species: wahoo, marlin, mahi-mahi, sailfish, yellow-fin tunas and black-fin tunas. Occasionally we may hook a nice barracuda. Captain is also comfortable in jigging techniques. He will switch between different fishing methods in order to maximize the catch.
On our afternoon 5-hour trip we may explore the South side of the island instead, and combine high-speed trolling with more focus on bottom fishing, due to the time of the day.

Deep sea fishing on Bonaire is unique and exciting due to the island’s geography. The island offers some glorious, deep drop-offs just a few feet away from the shore where most pelagic species can be found. Captain Jordan is a native fisherman that will go out of his way to offer you an adventure of a lifetime. He will switch between different fishing techniques to maximize the catch. With four lines in the water, we target: wahoo, marlin, sailfish, yellowfin tuna, blackfin tuna and mahi-mahi. Our minimum tour is 5 hours, and on longer trips we also do deep drops for: swordfish, queen snappers, groupers, amberjacks and almaco jacks. Our charters are private, between one and six passengers.
Note: If you are arriving on a cruise line and have a limited schedule, kindly contact us for a personalized time schedule.
- Most species that are caught in the waters of Bonaire are edible and highly sought after by our local restaurants. The fish supply is very scarce, so no fish goes to waste. All fish that is being kept, is shared amongst locals, restaurants, and family. Our catch is divided evenly amongst: guests, Captain and boat. You may choose the type of fish you would like to keep, and the Captain will clean, fillet and bag it for you free of charge.
