Fun kayak tour with Stan. - We had an amazing time with Stan! The tour was insightful and fun. We saw the elusive mangrove crab and even a juvenile barracuda in the shallows. Stan was a funny dude and we totally recommend the kayak tour with him. We even found Stan at Karpata later in the day and had a friendly conversation. Stan also knows the best locations for food on the island. At the end of the tour, Stan provided juice and stroopwaffles.

Don't say no to this one! - You have to do something when you've finished your last dive and have to spend 18 hours getting your N2 right. So we tried this tour. It was a a splendid piece of luck. It's a fun kayak paddle, nicely balanced with education and a snorkel - unlike Florida Mangoves - no gators, crocs or venomous snakes. And no mosquitos. Clear water, lots of fish and an excellent tour guide. A great way to round out a trip to this magic island.

Super fun trip! - What a fun trip! Our guide (Thijmen) was friendly, explained everything nicely and was very funny! Good pick-up service, something to drink and a cookie afterwards. Well organised. Really enjoyed the nice tunnels formed with branches. Clear blue water and swimming in the mangrove where you saw many fish! Highly recommended.

Stan the Man did a Great Job!!! - We did the mangrove tour a few days ago (May 2024). There were 4 of us in our party. We were given clear directions of where to meet for pickup, and it was easy to find. :-) Stan picked up our party of 4 and another party of 6 was picked up in a separate SUV. It was about a 25 minute ride to the kayak location. Ride was easy and Stan gave us great information along the way. Tour started with a briefing of how to paddle and how to keep the mangroves safe. Very educational! We were outfitted with 2 per kayak, snorkel gear, a bottle of water, and a dry bag. We took off across an area of water with some strong currents but most were capable of this kayaking. We had one couple that struggled but Stan was helpful and advised them how to paddle and helped them bail water out of their kayak. Once in the mangrove, we got a great tour of the area with lots of information. After our kayak tour, we had the opportunity to get out of our kayaks and snorkel thru a tunnel of mangrove trees. After the tour, we went back to the starting spot and had juice and Stroopwaffles (which were delicious)! Stan brought us back to our pick up point and we still had half a day to tour Bonaire. Stan and his assistant were very professional and likeable. We enjoyed his humor and his education on the mangroves. We would do this tour again next time we are back and highly recommend!!!

Recommended to do! - This was so cool to do! We were taken by Tijmen and Jordi. First everything was explained and then we were guided into the kayaks. We stopped regularly along the way to talk about the area. That was done seriously and also with the necessary humor. Snorkeling between the mangroves is truly a different experience. Very special to experience this. At the end we received a delicious fruity drink and a fantastic snack. If you are on Bonaire, this is highly recommended! Tijmen and Jordi did this very well and it was fantastic fun, you really notice that they take their job seriously and enjoy doing it!

Nice tour with kids - A completely different part of Bonaire. Fun for kids and also easy to do in terms of character. It's not far, so from the age of about 10 they could get into a boat themselves. Beautiful starfish seen.
