There were times in recent history when Krakow didn’t appear very multicultural or diverse. This tour will show how multicultural and diverse Krakow and Poland were in the past, and explain the events that shaped the country into what it is today. We began offering this tour because the histories of Jews and Christians in Krakow are deeply intertwined. Today, Kazimierz is known as a Jewish District, but for many centuries, it was a place where both cultures coexisted. Discover where their history began in the 11th century and why Jewish people chose Poland for their settlements.
