Embark on an impressive 4-hour private expedition through the Wieliczka salt mines, a world filled with expansive galleries, salt artworks, vintage machinery, centuries-old mining apparatus, and salt wells of a stunning emerald hue.

Your dedicated driver will collect you from anywhere in Krakow you nominate and take you on a 12-kilometer trip to the remarkable Wieliczka Salt Mines.

After arriving at the mines, you’ll join your official guide for a group tour (as private tours are not permitted). These mines, still in operation today, stretch approximately 327 meters deep across 9 levels and extend for 300 kilometers. However, tourists are only permitted to tour within the first three levels.

In Level 1, situated 64 meters below the ground, you’ll have the opportunity to explore 20 salt chambers across a 2-kilometer stretch that showcase a variety of mining methods utilized in Wieliczka from the Medieval period to the present.

Upon your tour’s conclusion, your exclusive driver will return you to your hotel in Krakow.
