Not claustrophobia - I was worried about feeling claustrophobic as don’t like small spaces. I need not have worried. The smallest place is where you queue to get into the mines and this was not cramped. If you can cope with the entrance you will be fine, if you don’t like it, you can leave at this point. I would say try and persevere as the walk ways are light and airy and not cramped. Most of the area are large and spectacular and this trip is amazing

Fantastic - A thoroughbred enjoyable and informative tour with excellent guide. The museum was well presented but be aware you need to be quite fit to do this as you cover a king distance walking over 3 hours.

“Small group” is 30 + people. - Transport was online and contact via WhatsApp was reliable. Was in a “small group” tour but had 30 people in. The tour guide was very good and knowledgeable. Stopped at lots of check points to discuss the history and signpost parts of the mine. Being in a group with 30 made it difficult sometimes to see and hear the tour guide but was okay. Mixture of ages and abilities, so some who struggled to walk stairs and for long duration struggled. I would emphasise that this tour is a lot of walking and listening. Young children who came with family were very disruptive due to being bored and unstimulated. There was hundreds of steps down and then long tunnels to walk through.

Tourist attraction - Very touristy, lines and rows of people. You have to go down 16 floors with the stairs first. You can also walk about 3 km underground. Our guide talked too quietly so I couldn't understand everything. You're hardly standing anywhere because the next group is coming. The decor is beautiful and that makes it worthwhile. At the end of the tour you have to wait for the lift and we (at least) got another guide who only spoke Polish. She told me a lot of other things that I didn't understand at all. That makes the experience just a little less

Beware the rush and the stairs - BEWARE regarding all the stairs. If we had known that we would be rushed down so many steps and with so many people, we would never of paid to go in. why the rush I don't know as it was a rush just to get through to another rush to walk down the tunnels. This was a huge group of 50 or more and it was all rushed because another group was on our tail. There was not much time or places to stop sit and and take it all in. Lots of displays we just walked past with not even a look or chance to read the signs. The church at the end was the best because we got a whole 5 minutes to look at it all. No chance of a seat as very few about. Then we were told we could spend as much time in the cafe as we would like. I'm glad we decided to sit eat drink and use the loo, as to get out was another very long walk to a lift where we were squashed in like sardines. We still ache from those stairs. And we are walkers, used to walking.

Nice to see. Not very accessible. Unfortunately poor guide - The salt mine is nice to see. You have to be good on your feet. In the beginning whole department on foot a lot of stairs down! Back happy with an elevator that is very small! The guide we had was not good. He walked too fast, was uninterested and told no more than the absolutely necessary. The driver arrived in time to pick us up but left us to our own devices after we got out of the mine. As a result, we have to wait more than half an hour.
