Tours of most interesting and varied topics in Krakow - This was one of the best tours we took in Krakow. The Schindler tour was very comprehensive and was an excellent complement to the Auschwitz and Jewish Heritage tours. The guide was terrific and very professional. This tour is highly recommended for everyone (except very young children). Suggest watching the movie, Schindler's List, before your trip to Krakow and going on the tour. The Ghetto tour was also excellent with the same guide as the Schindler tour. We learned many things not covered in the Jewish Heritage tours we took with very little repetition. We got a very good understanding of the ghetto experience. Finally, the Salt Mine also had a very knowledgeable guide. This tour included quite a bit of walking and going down many stairs, so may not be suitable for people with back or leg issues. The tour is quite long, but very interesting. Doing all three of these tours on the same day fit our schedule but filled almost 6 hours so might be better taken separately. I would recommend doing the Schindler factory and the ghetto tours together (we had the same guide for both) and the Salt Mine Tour another day.

Good locations to visit, but group was way too large - I enjoyed the visit to the Schindlers Factory and the salt mine, but it was really hard to get past the size of the groups. We had about 40 people in the factory, and each room is very small, so no way for the whole group to get in the room with the guide to see what she was talking about. Even though we had headsets, we couldn't see over people's heads. We didn't have time to look at all the small pictures with captions. So this could have been much better if I'd done it on my own. The walk through part of what was the Jewish ghetto was OK, but not a lot to see. Then I met the group to go to the salt mine. I have to say the driver could have done a lot better. Once we got there, we walked a few blocks to the entrance of the salt mine. He told us, just go back to the parking lot once we get done. He should have told us at the parking lot, hey, you should map this location so you can find it because when you come out of the mine, you are in a totally different part of the town. But he didn't, so all of us were wandering around the town trying to find any landmark as to where to go. Also, we were just tacked on to the end of a huge group of about 50 people to visit the mine. It was supposed to be a small group tour, but this group was huge! A lot of walking, and then especially at the end, to get to the elevator. I've had better tours. I think this one needs some rework to make it truly a small group, with better directions.

A busy day, but it did not disappoint. - The Schindler Factory is set out extremely well and there is so much information, but our guide was extremely informative and passionate, and I definitely learned more than I would had I visited on my own. After the factory, we had a short break and then went on the Ghetto walking tour. I did not expect this as the details had only mentioned Heroes Square, so for me this was definitely an added bonus. Once the walking tour concluded at Heroes Square, my transport arrived for the Salt Mines. They are just incredible and the guide was excellent and fun! The day was long, but well worth it, and definitely value for money.
