Highlights
  • Kotor Cable Car - We start from our meeting point at 9:00 am.

To reach the amazing views of the Bay of Kotor and conquer Lovćen Mountain we will take the Cable Car, overlooking the famous Old Austro-Hungarian serpentine road from 1884 offering spectacular views of Kotor and Tivat Bays - an unforgettable start to an amazing day!

  • Kotor Serpentine - Due to windy weather, Cable Car ride can be canceled and instead we will take an old Austo-Hungarian road to reach the Njeguši village.
  • Njegusi - After admiring the magnificent Bay of Kotor, we continue our Great Montenegro tour over the slopes of Mt. Lovćen to reach the most famous village in Montenegro - Njeguši, where the best prosciutto (smoked ham) in the region is produced.

Along our winding road path we pass a number of original 300+ year old Montenegrin stone houses. Don’t be surprised to see cows and goats grazing, resting, running around or even blocking the road in the surrounding fields and slopes.

Around 09.30 am everybody should be ready for a short breakfast/snack at the oldest restaurant in Montenegro - first opened in 1881.

But before you grab a bite, your guide will invite you to enjoy a free traditional RAKIJA shot (strong local brandy), just to start your day off better

  • Lovcen National Park - After a short rest and excellent traditional food, we’ll be ready to continue our Great Montenegro tour towards the Lovćen peaks. To conquer this “Sea of rocks”, we’ll drive through the National Park of Lovćen and reach the well-known Lake Peak located at an altitude of 1.660 meters.
  • Njegos Mausoleum - On top of the second-highest and imposing peak of Lovćen sits the officially highest mausoleum in the world - where the greatest Montenegrin ruler and poet Petar II Petrović Njegoš rests in peace.
  • Cetinje - During the walking tour, the guide will lead you through the most important monuments that are distinguished by their beauty and historical relevance - Monastery of Cetinje, King Nikola’s Palace, Court Church at Ćipur, and Biljarda (residence of Peter II Petrović Njegoš) where we enter to see concrete relief of Montenegro built by Austro-Hungarian army during WWI.
  • Lake Skadar - We continue towards the Crnojević River for some astonishing photo shots, a scenic boat ride, and, a timely lunch break!
Here we are about to enjoy our scenic and relaxing boat ride. As the Crnojević River contributes directly to Skadar Lake, we’ll get the sense of the similar lush vegetation, water lilies, and dynamic birdlife as if we were at the lake itself.
  • Sveti Stefan - The big attraction on the Riviera of Budva is Sveti Stefan. The former fishing village situated on a peninsula became an exclusive luxury hotel-town 50 years ago where non-guests are not allowed to enter.
We have just enough time to enjoy the beauty of the island and to caption it in a photo from a viewpoint above the insland.

Best trip ever - So... the soul of the trip was definitely Slavko Karadzic. He was our tour guide, advisor, history teacher, our friend, and our shepherd. The company should consider itself more than lucky to have such a great asset. I have traveled all over the world and have been on my share of organized trips, but this must be my all-time favorite, and even though the trip itself is amazing, the tour guide made it extremely special. When it comes to the tourist spots; all of them were just breathtaking. The landscapes, the views, the water, the national park were all hard to forget. If you are a nature and bird lover, the boat tour is to die for. It was actually one of my favorite things I've ever seen in my entire life. It's close to impossible to see wildlife so up close. I felt like I was in Avatar. The boatman was incredibly kind to stop each time I was grabbing my camera to shoot. The view from the top at the mausoleum was to die for. If you are lucky enough to be traveling with my tour guide, he will share a secret with you guys up there that will blow your mind. So you are up for a treat if you choose this trip; it's definitely worth it.

Great tour - Vanya was so excellent and funny. We really liked her a lot. I also really liked 360Monte. They helped us switch around our tours to get the best experience. I stayed in contact with them while my bus was running behind and everyone was so nice. I really appreciate that. Thank you

Beautiful, immersive tour of Montenegro’s stunning landscape and rich history. - This tour was the best thing that we did during our week in Montenegro! Slavko was our guide and he was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and brilliantly entertaining - we learned so much about the history of Montenegro and saw so many breathtaking views. The boat ride on Lake Skadar was a personal highlight, along with the delicious breakfast in Montenegro’s oldest restaurant. Hvala!

2 TRIPS WITH 360 Monte - We did 2 trips with369 Monte, the Grand Tour and the North Tour. Both were worth doing, different Tour guides on the each one, Igor and Milach, but the same driver, Marco. Both guides were really friendly and knowledgeable and excellent hosts. The lakes, mouseleum, temples etc were well worth the drive. The food stops on both days were great and good value. Be prepared you are in for a long day, but if you have Marco as your driver ( Best driver in Montenegro apparently) you are in very safe hands on the steep and windy roads.

Tour to be cherished for life !! :) - I barely write reviews but had to for this one. Igor and Marco made sure that we have an absolutely amazing tour and that we go home with views to be cherished for life ! Igor is thorough, and his efforts were truly commendable. Had a splendid time. There were few hiccups with the protests and stuff but again Igor and Marco worked around it and went above and beyond!

View above Kotor - The view of the 4 bays above Kotor after completing the serpentine roads—spectacular! Be aware if you are coming from Dubrovnik that it is about 1 hour to the pick up point in Montenegro and then almost another hour to the start of the tour in Kotor. You are in the van a lot as well. Slavko is a great guide: very engaging and humorous.
